Sage Stallone’s Cause Of Death Was Heart Attack

Sage Stallone‘s cause of death has been released, and it seems that Sylvester Stallone’s son’s death was not the result of drugs, but rather a heart attack, brought on by heart disease.

Sage Stallone’s July 13th death was a huge blow to the elder Stallone, who asked for privacy for the family while they grieved.

The media and others began speculation that Sage’s cause of death was brought on by alcohol and other drugs, but instead the Los Angeles County Coroner’s report shows that Sage’s death is from a heart condition, which causes blockage of the arteries, reports Fox News.

The actor and film director’s sudden death stunned family and friends, and Sylvester skipped many promotional events for his latest film The Expendables 2 while he grieved for his son.

Sage Moonblood Stallone made his acting debut in the 1990s Rocky V, and also appeared with his father in Daylight in 1996. He went on to become involved in moviemaking and directed the short film Vic, which appeared on screen at the 2006 Palm Springs Film Festival.

Sage Stallone’s cause of death was released by coroner Chief Craig Harvey, who said that Sage Stallone was a heavy smoker, although the amount had diminished in the months before his death, with the eldest Stallone son switching to an electronic cigarette, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Coronary artery disease is most often brought on by smoking, which has been known to cause elevated blood pressure, raising the clot risk. Harvey went on to declare Sage Stallone’s death from natural causes, saying that the toxicology test came back “negative except for a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone,” which played no role in the actor’s death.

A housekeeper found Stallone’s body on July 13th, but reports have said that he may have been dead for several days before he was found.
