‘Southern Charm’ Thomas Ravenel Sues Kathryn Dennis Over Child Custody

Southern Charm‘s Thomas Ravenel claims he has had enough, and is going after Kathryn Dennis with a legal team to get to see his children, and put an agreement in place that Kathryn can’t break. Thomas Ravenel says he is suing his ex, and this time, he will not back down, and has a legal team in place to put a custody agreement in place.

According to the Inquisitr, Southern Charm‘s Kathryn Dennis claims that Thomas Ravenel has not seen his children in months, and says that Thomas has also stopped contributing to the expenses for the children. Kathryn says that she has been left alone to be a single parent while Thomas Ravenel spends more time chasing women. The children shared by Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis are both under age three, and Thomas Ravenel reportedly has not seen them in almost three months.

FittsNews is reporting that the stars of Southern Charm are headed to court for a showdown, triggered by a lawsuit filed by Thomas Ravenel against his ex and baby mama Kathryn Dennis. The battle will allegedly take place in a Charleston County courtroom later this month, as Thomas Ravenel is insisting that Kathryn come to an agreement over the custody of their children. This on-going battle has increased the ratings for Southern Charm, but it is possible that the details of the arrangement will likely be sealed.

Thomas Ravenel, 54, is suing Kathryn Dennis, 24, over custody and visitation matters related to their children. They are listed in documents as two year old Kensington Calhoun Ravenel and seven month old St. Julien Rembert Ravenel, better known as Saint. There will be an initial meeting on this matter Wednesday at 2 p.m., to seal the details of the case, and another hearing on June 27th.

While initially, neither Thomas Ravenel nor Kathryn Dennis were willing to comment on the lawsuit, Thomas Ravenel just broke his silence and made comments to FittsNews about his frustrations, and why he filed the lawsuit. Thomas Ravenel insists that he has tried everything else to work out custody details with Kathryn Dennis, but Ravenel says Kathryn won’t budge.

Ravenel alleges that while Kathryn Dennis says that he has not seen his children, Ravenel says he has been kept away from his children for months.

“I haven’t seen my kids in ten weeks because she won’t allow me visitation.”

Thomas Ravenel says he has even gone as far as to make requests through lawyers, and they have been ignored. Ravenel claims that it is a fact that he has been paying $3100 for Kathryn’s rent, and that he offered her a settlement for much more. Additionally, Ravenel claims that Kathryn makes six figures a year on Southern Charm, so she is hardly penniless.

“I was hoping we could work something out but to no avail. My only recourse is through the courts.”

Thomas Ravenel’s lawyer, F.P. “Charlie” Segars-Andrews supports Ravenel’s claims, and also admonishes Kathryn Dennis for belittling Thomas Ravenel on social media (for the record, Ravenel has also made horrible claims on social media, alleging that Kathryn Dennis used drugs while pregnant). Kathryn is represented by Gregory Forman, and both parties want to have the court case sealed from the public.

But according to People Magazine, Kathryn Dennis went on Amy Phillips’ SiriusXM radio show this week, and claimed that Ravenel had not seen his children for almost three months. Kathryn alleges that Thomas Ravenel has gone silent, and has had no contact with her or her children.

“He hasn’t called me, talked to our kids, seen out kids in months,” she said. “He hasn’t given me money. So that’s kind of why I’m asking for his help and support.”
