The blog post also noted that they are targeting to release both Ibuki and the Cinematic Story Mode in the upcoming Street Fighter 5 June update. The free and expanded story mode, expected to connect the gap between Street Fighter IV and the 2016 entry, according to GameSpot, will take two hours to complete.
Moreover, as cited in the report, game producer Yoshinori Ono, talking about the cinematic campaign, shared that there will be character stories "which are really serving as a prologue in terms of getting people up to speed with what's happening in Street Fighter 5, and it's very similar to what you see in other Street Fighter titles--it has still screenshots, conversations, and banter between characters."
Going back to Ibuki, Gaming Bolt shared that she is the third SFV DLC character to join the list. Describing the young ninja, the report said the following.
"Debuting in Street Fighter 3, Ibuki was playable in Street Fighter 4 and has been a fairly regular character in the series over the years. Along with the ability to dash forward, Ibuki can stay afloat in the air using a small parachute. Her main attacks involve kunai which are can be effective for battling foes from a distance."
"She is constantly tasked with difficult missions and rigorous training and dreams of one day finishing her ninja exams, leaving all this behind to live a life of a normal schoolgirl," the description added.
Ibuki's arrival to Street Fighter 5 follows Alex' and Guile's, the first two of the six post-launch characters announced for the game. Late last year, Capcom shared that there will be six DLC characters coming to the latest iteration of the fighting video game franchise, a separate GameSpot report noted. Fans can look forward to the release details for three more forthcoming Street Fighter 5 DLC characters namely Balrog, Urien and Juri.
