Teacher, 24, Impregnated By 13-Year-Old Student Had Abortion, Says His Parents Were ‘Supportive’ Of Their Relationship

Alexandria Vera, 24, was allegedly having sexual relations with a 13-year-old middle school student from the Aldine Independent School District in Houston, Texas. The teacher claims she had sex with the student on almost a daily basis and even introduced herself to the student’s parents as the young teen’s girlfriend. Following their sexual encounters, Vera reportedly became pregnant, and the boy’s family was “very supportive and excited” about the baby. However, after CPS was called to investigate the teacher-student sexual relationship, Alexandria Vera allegedly had an abortion.

Buzzfeed reports that 24-year-old English teacher Alexandria Vera began a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old student after he failed to show up to her class. The teacher says initially she was contacting him about his absences and wanted to ensure he was doing okay. However, she claims the student was initially rude but then started flirting with her. Vera notes that she initially disregarded the flirtatious text messages and told the student to stop, but she soon agreed to go on a date with the young teen.

On their first date, the teacher says they just drove around kissing but that things quickly turned sexual as they began having intercourse on a daily basis. However, in court documents submitted regarding charges of “continuous sexual abuse of a child,” the teacher claims that she thought the relationship was okay given that the student’s parents knew about their relationship and were “very supportive.” In fact, the teacher says that the teen boy’s parents invited her to family events.

Following the “almost daily” sexual encounters, Vera disclosed that she became pregnant with the student’s baby and informed his parents of the pregnancy. The teacher says that the family was “very supportive and excited” about the baby but that ultimately she decided to have an abortion after CPS showed up at the school to question her about her relationship with the student. Vera notes that the abortion was a bid to cover-up the pregnancy, which she initially denied to CPS agents out of fear.

The teen boy also admitted to the sexual relations. According to the court documentation, the teen admitted to the sexual relations and noted that he was 13-years-old when he first had sex with the teacher. In the documents, it was noted that Vera said that she and the teen boy were “in love” and that their sex was consensual. However, with the boy being 13-years-old at the time of the encounters, Alexandria Vera has been charged with “continuous sexual abuse of a child” and, if found guilty, could be labeled a sexual predator.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the teacher was known in school as the “cool teacher” and would often have students over to her house for parties. Neighbors say that her yard was often littered with beer cans following the parties despite the teens at her house looking no more than high school age.

“She was having a lot of kids in her home. There was drinking in the front. We always found beer bottles and beer cans on her side of the lawn and half of the (teens) did not look older than high school, maybe.”

The teen boy who Vera allegedly had the long-term sexual relations with was identified by neighbors as a teen who was “always” over at the teacher’s home. The neighbors say that Vera introduced the teen as her “brother,” but many suspected something else was going on in the home.

Vera even posted an image to her public Facebook page that shows her with a much younger looking teenage boy. (We will not post that photograph out of respect for the sexual abuse victim.) The Facebook page is filled with photographs that many are claiming are too sexy for a teacher who openly shares her page with students.
