Pictures Of Bruised Amber Heard Bolsters Domestic Abuse Claims

The divorce saga involving Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues as new pictures of the Magic Mike XXL star with bruises on her face emerged.

In an exclusive from People magazine, photos of the makeup-free Amber Heard were published. She had a few scratches on her face while there is a visible wound on her lower and upper lips. The injuries were allegedly caused by the Pirates of the Caribbean star last December.

She said that the incident left her fearing for her life.

According to Yahoo Celebrity, the magazine reached out to Johnny Depp and his representatives, but their camp has not yet responded to the latest blow in their relationship.

The statement was backed by a friend of Amber Heard who claimed that the actor tried to suffocate his wife with a pillow, the Post reported.

The friend claimed that the actress texted her after the couple had an altercation. The unnamed pal then went to the LA pad the couple shared where she allegedly found a “battered and bruised” Amber Heard.

“I got to her apartment to find her with a cut and bruised lip, a swollen eye and a chunk of hair missing from the top of her head,” the friend said.

“This incident really stuck with me because she confided in me that day that she feared for her life after an intoxicated Johnny tried to suffocate her with a pillow.”

The friend added that that wasn’t the only time the actor was violent towards his wife, saying she personally witnessed instances of his “violent and abusive behavior.”

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight was able to get hold of text messages supposedly between Amber Heard and her estranged husband’s assistant, Stephen Deuters. The exchange, which happened before the couple even got married, gave details about an alleged abuse.

It all began with “Stephen” texting, “Think he’s just texted you. He’s incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong. He wants to get better now. He’s been every explicit about that this morning.”

“Feel like we’re at a critical juncture,” Stephen added.

The “he” being referred to in the message is thought to be Johnny Depp.

Then a reply came, which is purported to have come from Amber Heard. It said, “Yes but I don’t know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday.”

She added, “I don’t know if I can stay with him.”

Stephen then went on to say that Johnny Depp wants to see her and that he’s distraught. Amber Heard then said that the actor “has no idea what he did or to the extent that he did it.”

“And definitely wouldn’t say to me that he doesn’t deserve it,” she said. “I’m sad that he doesn’t have a better way to really know the severity of his actions yesterday.”

“Unfortunately for me, I remember in full detail everything that happened,” she added.

Things became clearer about what they were talking about when Stephen said that Johnny Depp is appalled that he kicked Amber Heard.

“He was appalled. When I told him he kicked you, he cried,” the text read. “It was disgusting. And he knows it.”

According to the news site, the messages were sent in May 2014. It happened way before they became husband and wife.

Amid the claims of abuse Amber Heard is throwing at Johnny Depp, police responding to a 911 call found that there was no proof that a crime was committed.

The police went to the couple’s property on account of a call made on May 21, but they were unsure where the call came from, People reported.
