Did Blake Shelton Shoot New Music Video In Miranda Lambert’s Old Pink Pistol Building?

When Blake Shelton bought Miranda Lambert’s Pink Pistol boutique building in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, there was some speculation that he was planning on turning the space into a bar or a brewery. He might still serve his own Smithworks Vodka there someday, but recent reports suggest that Gwen Stefani’s cowboy beau found a more immediate use for his ex-wife’s old property.

According to Nashville Gab, a Tishomingo resident photographed a large crew of people and several buses in front of The Pink Pistol on Wednesday. The picture sparked speculation that Blake Shelton was in town to use the building to shoot a music video for “She’s Got a Way with Words.”

Director Adam Rothlein added fuel to the rumors by revealing that he just finished working on a music video with Shelton. On Friday night, Rothlein shared an Instagram photo of himself and Blake Shelton posing in front of a bar. Photos on Country Living reveal that The Pink Pistol did have a bar, but if it’s the same place in the picture below, Blake has given it a major make-under by making the walls look dive-bar dirty.

KXII News 12 claims that Blake Shelton was actually shooting a music video a few buildings down at the Red Rifle, but there’s already rampant speculation that the country crooner decided to film the music video for “She’s Got a Way with Words” at the former location of The Pink Pistol because he wants to give Miranda Lambert a shot to the heart. Blake hasn’t publicly slammed his ex-wife, but he has revealed that their divorce really did a number on him.

“This time last year, there was no light at the end of the tunnel for me personally,” Blake told People of the aftermath of the divorce. “There was a point there where I thought I didn’t even want to exist anymore.”

As Rare Country reports, Miranda Lambert fans believe that Blake is bashing her big-time in “She’s Got a Way with Words.”

“She put the her in hurt / She put the why in try / She put the S.O.B. in sober / She put the hang in hangover (hangover) / She put the ex in sex / She put the low in blow / She put a big F.U. in my future,” the lyrics read.

Blake Shelton also sings that the subject of the song lies, cheats, and screws him over. However, according to Country Countdown USA, Blake didn’t write the lyrics for “She’s Got a Way with Words,” and the song was actually penned before his divorce.

“That was a song I’ve had for a while, that dates back before my divorce. It was so crazy that I had that song and it fit this project,” Blake said of his decision to include the song on If I’m Honest.

“I loved the song, thought it was so clever, it’s one of the most well-written songs I’ve heard in my life. It’s so tongue-in-cheek.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Blake Shelton revealed that he “has a plan brewing” for The Pink Pistol when he first announced that he had purchased the building from Miranda Lambert. Miranda opened the boutique in 2012 while she and Blake resided in Oklahoma together, but the native Texan probably won’t want to spend any more time in the Sooner State now that she and Blake are no longer sharing a home there. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Blake also likes to bring his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, home to visit Tishomingo, and it was probably a bit awkward for the couple to drive past Miranda’s Main Street business.

If Blake is planning on turning The Pink Pistol property into a bar or brewery, he already has the perfect neon sign to put up in the place. One of the sets in Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You” music video was a bar called Blake’s, and Gwen gifted Blake with the fictional bar’s neon sign bearing his name.
