Ryan Gosling Gets More Feminist With Eva Mendes And Baby Girls

Ryan Gosling, who is now the head of the household that consists of Eva Mendes and two lovely baby girls, can’t be more feminist. If you thought that he was a feminist during his days before having daughters, when “Hey Girl” memes populated the internet, you should check out what he said in a recent interview.

“I think women are better than men,” he said to Evening Standard. “They are stronger, more evolved. You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”

Sounds like having Esmeralda and Amada has shaped the way he sees and interacts with women.

When asked by the interviewer how much of himself he sees as female, he said, “I’d say 49 per cent, sometimes 47 per cent, it depends on what day you catch me.”

He added,”I’ve always liked women more. I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class. My home life now is mostly women. They are better than us. They make me better.”

Bam. There is at least one proper feminist man in Hollywood.

Ryan Gosling treasures his time with his baby girls so much that he can’t stop gushing about it.

When asked by Good Morning America‘s Amy Robach what it’s like being the only man in the house, the 34-year-old feminist told her, “It’s heaven. It’s like walking through a field of flowers every day. I live with angels.”

In fact, having two baby girls have changed the actor’s life in more ways than one. First off, he has become a much serious partner to Eva Mendes, to whom he isn’t married to (yet), but has shown commitment that goes beyond a ring on his fourth finger.

“Ryan attracts a lot of young women,” Russell Crowe, Ryan’s co-star in The Nice Guys, admitted to Entertainment Tonight. “But he’s in a committed relationship, so, you know, if they need a shoulder to cry on, a father figure.”

Sounds like Ryan only has eyes for Eva.

Secondly, having a second daughter may have made the Canadian actor funnier.

“Mark it: This May, in the year 2016, Ryan Gosling is funny,” reports GQ. “And in this role in particular, Gosling unleashes a glass-shattering cacophony of squeals and screams and pants onto the world, and the world is better for it.”

But one thing has not changed for either Ryan Gosling or Eva Mendes — they are as secretive as ever. Not only have they evaded the paparazzi with their first baby girl, but they were able to hide the fact that she was pregnant AND gave birth to their second child this year.

“[T]he famous parents named their daughter Amada Lee Gosling, and they managed to keep the birth a secret for quite some time. The certificate lists Amada’s birth date as April 29 at 8:03 a.m. The baby was born at Providence St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif.”

Looks like the couple has a system figured out that helps them avoid the prying public eye at all costs.

Plus, they still have all the fun that rich parents get to, with a bit of help from family and hired help.

“They may be very private, but they still have a fun life,” another source told People Magazine in a different article. “They just go out of their way to make sure Esmeralda gets to grow up as normal as possible. Whenever Eva and Ryan are together, they look very happy.”

Do you think a third baby girl is in the works for the feminist couple?
