WWE News: Bray Wyatt Scheduled To Return To WWE Next Week

Prior to this past Monday’s Raw, there was a ton of speculation surrounding the return of Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family after WWE teased a “hatching” on their Twitter account. But that ended up being a tease for the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game, which will feature former WWE and WCW Champion Goldberg as a pre-order bonus character.

Even though Wyatt didn’t return this past Monday, according to PW Insider, the “Eater of Worlds” will be returning to WWE next week.

Wyatt has been out of action with a calf injury since April, and his return was confirmed by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon during WWE’s quarterly conference call several weeks ago.

There’s still no word on what Bray will be doing upon his return or if he’ll be returning to Monday Night Raw next week. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has been under the impression that there will be a seventh man added to the Money in the Bank ladder match, and that the seventh man could end up being Bray Wyatt.

Of course, Bray may not end up returning to WWE television until after next Sunday’s Money in the Bank show, and his reported WWE return could just be a return to WWE’s live events.

Bray isn’t currently being advertised for any of the upcoming WWE television or live events. As of right now, if he does return, it’ll be a bit of a surprise. However, it does appear that he, along with the rest of the Wyatt Family, is ready to return to action.

If Bray is going to be doing anything at the Money in the Bank show, the ladder match makes the most sense, as every other match is pretty much set.

It’s almost a guarantee that WWE fans will be dying to see the Wyatt Family take on The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson) after the Wyatt’s return to WWE television. However, that match probably won’t happen right away, as Anderson, Gallows, and Styles just began feuding with the returning John Cena.

There’s a chance that former NXT Champion Finn Balor will be debuting on the main roster at some point this year, and it’s expected that once he makes his main-roster debut, he’ll replace AJ Styles as the leader of The Club and the group’s name will be changed to The Balor Club.

Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor have been teasing a match with one another at next year’s WrestleMania 33 on Twitter, so we may have to wait until the spring of 2017 to get a Balor Club vs. Wyatt Family feud. But, once it starts, it’ll almost certainly be the hottest thing going in WWE.

For now, though, it looks like Bray Wyatt may be in the Money in the Bank ladder match next Sunday night. Who knows? Maybe he’ll end up walking out of the pay-per-view with the briefcase, which will almost guarantee that he’ll end up as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at some point in the next 365 days.

As of right now, Kevin Owens is the favorite to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, but plans could, and probably will, change between now and the day of the show. Putting your money on Owens, or Bray Wyatt if he’s added to the match, would be a smart bet.

Regardless of what WWE’s plans are for him, Bray Wyatt is ready to get back into the ring, and it looks like we’ll be seeing him return to action at some point next week.
