Angelina Jolie, ‘Scary Skinny,’ Wants To Save Marriage To Brad Pitt Amid ‘Explosive Fights’ & Cheating Rumors

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt already own a variety of impressive properties. Now the couple has added a luxurious Majorcan villa, paying £2.65 million for their new acquisition, according to the Daily Mail.

Located in the ancient town of Andratx, the villa stems from a request by Brad to a real estate tycoon to locate an appropriate place in the region. Pitt discovered the area after shooting scenes for his World War II drama Allied there.

“Brad Pitt fell in love with the Balearic Islands after shooting his new film in the Canaries and that’s why he asked us to find him a house in Majorca,” explained Alessandro Proto.

The mansion includes eight bedrooms, a huge garden, swimming pool, and a double living room. It is not known when or if the actor, 52, and Angelina, 40, will reside there.

Jolie and her husband paid $60 million for their estate and winery, Chateau Miraval, located in the south of France. Their 2014 wedding was held there.

With Angelina and Brad frequently needing to travel for their careers, they both own and have rented various homes for their six children. The couple has a house in Los Angeles’ chic Los Feliz area and recently rented an eight-bedroom, $21,000-a-month Surrey rental. They plan to stay there for six months during the filming of Pitt’s war drama.

The actor currently is immersed in working on Allied. He plays the character of Max Vatan, who can’t resist the charms of French agent Marianne Beausejour, portrayed by Marion Cotillard. The action includes a mission to kill a German ambassador hiding in Casablanca. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film features Jared Harris and Matthew Goode and is set for release on November 23.

Amid the thrill of purchasing a new mansion and working on a new film, Pitt is reportedly coping with problems in his marriage to Jolie, according to a source cited by Design & Trend.

“For a while, the excitement of getting married masked their troubles, but lately, they’ve been having explosive fights,” revealed the source. “Neither of them is sure that they can or should, hang on anymore.”

Brad is concerned about Angelina’s weight loss. She rarely eats, yet drinks wine nightly and “smokes constantly,” added the insider.

In addition to feeling concerned about her physical health, Pitt is trying to cope with his wife’s “dark demons.” Although he at first was drawn to her “dark side,” Jolie tends to isolate and retreat, abandoning Brad and her children during those periods, according to the source.

“Brad’s just exhausted from spending so much energy trying to get her to take better care of herself. It’s been hard to watch the woman he loves waste away.”

Moreover, Pitt feels frustrated when Angelina “pushes” him from her during her dark times, claims the insider. And although he has sought to be patient, “his confidence in their happiness is wearing thin.”

Recently seen with “scootering” and shopping with one of her daughters, Vivienne, Jolie has become “scary skinny,” according to OK! magazine. Spotted wearing a sleeveless dress, Angelina looks more frail than before amid the stress of her reported marriage problems.

Adding to their issues, Angelina was suspicious about just how close her husband has become to his Allied co-stars Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan, according to the International Business Times’ sources.

“Angie and Brad have had some serious arguments, and she told him she feels betrayed by him. Recently, Angie became so enraged when Brad was talking about how great Lizzy was, she threw him out of their bedroom.”

Jolie reportedly is so jealous that she wants to be able to pre-approve his co-stars in the future. And although Pitt is described as constantly gushing about Marion’s “cute” accent and acting skills, Angelina does hope that their marriage is salvageable.

“Angie is hoping their marriage can be saved,” commented the insider.

However, Gossip Cop denies that Jolie has experienced that type of jealousy. A source told Gossip Cop that the allegations that Angelina is stressed about her husband’s co-stars is “ridiculous.”
