Chad Johnson Defends Himself Amid ‘Bachelorette’ Drama, How Long Does JoJo Fletcher Keep This Bad Boy?

Chad Johnson has quickly been designated as a villain on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 with JoJo Fletcher this spring. He ruffled some feathers during the premiere and was at the center of the drama during Episode 2 that aired Monday night. He called JoJo “naggy” during a group date and has made some threats toward his fellow bachelors, but Johnson is sticking up for himself on social media. All of this drama has many fans anxious for Bachelorette spoilers regarding how long Chad will be getting Fletcher’s roses during Season 12.

As was previously reported by the Inquisitr, fans will get a double dose of drama, as both Episodes 3 and 4 will air during the week of June 6. New shows will be televised on both Monday and Tuesday nights, and the Bachelorette spoiler previews tease plenty of drama related to Chad Johnson. He is rubbing the other bachelors in the mansion the wrong way, and he is making threats, as well.

How much of this drama surrounding Chad is editing, and how much is for real? Johnson posted a photo on Instagram after Episode 2 that showed him with his mom and his sister. Johnson explained that he spent seven years watching his mother battle cancer and whenever he wasn’t working, he was at his mom’s place helping her. The controversial Bachelorette contestant adds that he and his sister were all his mom had, and he hasn’t been in a relationship for quite a while due to his focus on his mom.

In another Instagram post that Chad put up ahead of Episode 2 airing, he said that viewers would get to see who he really is as he got some time alone with JoJo. Johnson touted the amazing connection he and Fletcher had and he wrote about how he stands up for himself and doesn’t put up with being bullied or harassed.

Within that post that Johnson put up after the Bachelorette premiere, Chad wrote that he knows he may be cocky, but he thinks it’s all hilarious and that his mother thought his cockiness was funny too. This Bachelorette contestant says that this is what men do, make fun of one another, and people need to either have fun and rise above it or get offended and turn in their man card. From the looks of the previews for the next couple of episodes, this bachelor’s message about having fun with it all does not resonate with the other guys. Things get tense, and it seems they may even get physical as he bickers with Evan and ultimately shoves him.

How long does JoJo give roses to Chad? According to Reality Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers, Johnson makes it through Episode 3, but he will go on a two-on-one date during Episode 4. At that point, he will be eliminated by Fletcher, but that doesn’t mean that the drama is completely over. He is said to return to the resort where the guys are and get riled up when he sees them celebrating his elimination. However, the chances seem to be pretty good that this contestant will go ahead and head to Mexico for Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. Will he be able to redeem himself there?

Chad may be quite busy defending himself and claiming that he is just being misunderstood, but some Bachelorette fans would point out that he clearly gave the producers and editing team quite a bit of material to work with this season. JoJo may be giving him a pass so far, but spoilers detail that his quest to find love with Fletcher will be ending soon.

Do you think Chad Johnson is being unfairly villainized, or is he simply misunderstood? JoJo Fletcher’s journey to find love on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season continues on Monday, June 6, and Tuesday, June 7, and fans cannot wait to see what happens next and see which guy scores her final rose.
