Hated ‘Wife Swap’ Teen Beauty Queen Busted For Prostitution

You might remember hating Alicia Guastaferro after the teenage beauty queen’s appearance on Wife Swap in 2008. The “break-out” reality TV star has reportedly fallen even further from grace, getting herself ignobly busted at a rest stop Tuesday for prostitution.

Let this be a cautionary tale for overbearing parents. Guastaferro received infamy of all kinds after her 2008 appearance on Wife Swap with unforgettable comments like “I do feel sorry for people that are not gorgeous people” and the revelation that her parents keep a Christmas tree up year-round with a new present for Guastaferro every day. Her subsequent lawsuit against Wife Swap for portraying her exactly as she is apparently didn’t go so well, as the former pageant brat is now selling her body at seedy New York rest stops for cash.

The now-20-year-old was busted at a rest stop off the New York State Thruway with prominent 54-year-old Rochester attorney James Doyle, who was found slumped over asleep at the wheel of a parked car. After failing all of the tests, Doyle was charged with driving while intoxicated, patronizing a prostitute, and providing alcohol to a person under the age of 21. He has also apparently been convicted of DWI twice before, reports Syracuse.com.

Guastaferro was apparently quite forthcoming about her fabulous career as a highly-paid prostitute, confessing to police that she has known Doyle for two years and that she has sex with him “twice a month for $500 to $700 per night,” according to the Examiner. She didn’t have the cash on her at the time of the arrest, because “He [Doyle] pays me in the morning.” She has been charged with criminal impersonation, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and prostitution.
