Johnny Depp’s Mysterious Hand Injury Caused By Punching A Wall During Fight With Amber Heard, Sources Say

The divorce situation between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard keeps getting uglier by the day.

In a recent report by ET, Amber Heard claimed that the hand injury Depp suffered last year occurred during a physical confrontation they had at the time. The injury was originally reported to have been caused by an off-set accident in early March of last year.

Sources close to ET claimed that Amber told her close friends that Johnny injured his right hand when he punched a wall during an argument they had in Australia last year. It was the same injury that delayed the filming of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film for more than a month. Because of the injury, Johnny had to fly back to the US to undergo surgery for a pin had to be inserted in one of his fingers.

Disney, the studio that brought us the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise, declined to make a statement on the issue.

According to an insider for ET, Depp and Heard’s relationship started going downhill right after they got married, and the couple reportedly “fought all the time.”

“It started a few months after they got married and it just never got better. It was extremely volatile,” the source said.

The LAPD continues to investigate Amber’s allegations of domestic abuse against Depp after the actress filed a claim on Tuesday. The report says that she had suffered “years of physical and psychological” abuse in the hands of her estranged husband.

Amber’s attorneys said in a statement that the actress didn’t file a criminal report on May 21 because she was initially concerned for Depp’s career and for her privacy.

Law enforcement officials that their investigations didn’t yield any evidence of assault on May 21.

Amber later claimed in a sworn statement that, on that particular day, Depp threw an iPhone at her face while drunk and intoxicated, leaving her cheek bruised and swollen.

Heard added that she suffered physical abuse from Johnny again the following month when he pushed her to the floor during another of his outbursts.

The actress was granted a 100-day restraining order against Depp when she filed papers before the Los Angeles County Court on Friday, citing the actor’s “disturbing history of extreme anger, violent outbursts and substance abuse.”

“I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorize me, physically and emotionally,” Heard wrote.

“I am extremely afraid of Johnny and for my safety,” the actress said in her request for a restraining order. “Depending on his interaction with alcohol and drugs.”

“Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse,” she concluded.

Heard’s attorneys also released a statement to defend their client against the “vicious attacks” she’s been receiving in the media over her split with Depp.

“As the result of Amber’s decision to decline giving an initial statement to the LAPD, her silence has been used against her by Johnny’s team. Amber did not provide a statement to the LAPD in an attempt to protect her privacy and Johnny’s career. Johnny’s team has forced Amber to give a statement to the LAPD to set the record straight as to the true facts, as she cannot continue to leave herself open to the vicious false and malicious allegations that have infected the media. Amber has suffered through years of physical and psychological abuse at the hands of Johnny.”

Heard and Depp met while filming The Rum Diary in 2011. Back then, Johnny was still in a relationship with actress Vanessa Paradis, mother to his son Jack and daughter Lily-Rose. Vanessa recently wrote an open letter defending Johnny, describing the allegations against him as “outrageous.”
