Holly Madison Pregnant With First Child

Former Girls Next Door star Holly Madison is going from Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend to the role of mother. Madison on Wednesday announced that she and boyfriend of nine months, party promoter Pasquale Rotella, are having a baby.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Madison proclaims:

“I’ve always wanted to be a mom. But I thought it would take longer!

The Holly Madison pregnancy is only 12 weeks along, and, for now, she’s dealing with the the beginning of pregnancy.

“I’ve been lucky! No morning sickness, but I do get a little nauseous,” says the Peepshow star. “It happens before my show, so I keep ginger ale backstage.”

Madison has wanted to start a family for months, revealing just recently that she had been meeting with the adoption mentoring service Hold My Hand to adopt a child from Africa or South Korea.

Holly Madison became a hit in Las Vegas but in June decided not to renew her contract with Planet Hollywood where her Peepshow has run since its launch.

In June, Madison told People:

“I’ve wanted kids and that’s something I’m definitely doing as soon as possible. It is something that the time in my life is right for.”

Holly Madison has come a long way since her days on Girls Next Door.

The pregnancy leaves me with the same question I ask myself about all stars who choose her path in life, how is she one day going to explain her strange relationship with Hefner and his other girlfriends to her future child.
