Chris Harrison Says People Should Get Used To Chad On ‘The Bachelorette’

Chris Harrison has been the host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for years, and Harrison knows that some contestants may come off as the villains. Chris has seen quite the drama over the years thanks to people, who have lied about having a girlfriend at home, who have lied about why they are coming onto the show, and who are merely on the show to market their companies. Contestants know that being on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette give them a platform and make them instant celebrities, but Chris admits that he was surprised when he saw Chad Johnson’s behavior.

According to a new Yahoo report, Chris Harrison is now dishing his thoughts about this contestant, who has already become this season’s villain. Of course, his behavior does put him in the villain category, but many people support his honest views on The Bachelorette. During the date at the ESPN offices, Johnson merely said that he couldn’t tell Jojo Fletcher all of the things he loved about her, because he didn’t know her like that. He just wanted the time to get to know Jojo rather than saying that he loved all of these things about her — despite knowing her for a few days. Despite the honesty, even Chris Harrison was shocked and surprised.

“No one expected Chad to be so vocal, but at this point that is something we should all get used to. Chad is going to be Chad. All the guys eyes were on Chad, but what they didn’t get to see is his conversation with JoJo, where he seems to be just a little different than he is around the guys,” Chris Harrison reveals in his blog for Yahoo, adding, “I guess this makes sense, but I have a feeling it’s going to cause some tension in the house for awhile.”

During the cocktail party, many of the Bachelorette contestants decided to confront Johnson about his behavior. But he seemed more interested in the food that was being offered at the party than fighting with the guys. Many people from the Bachelor nation were watching the show and they were appalled by his behavior. Jojo respected his honesty, even though one can imagine she wanted to know how he felt about her.

“Chad kept the pressure on and had a great time chatting up JoJo before the cocktail party started the next night. Let me tell you, the other guys did not appreciate it. In fact, most of the night was about Chad’s antics, Chad’s meat supply, and whether or not JoJo was seeing the same Chad that the guys were seeing. Chad on the other hand, just kept eating and didn’t seem to mind much, other than when Alex confronted him. I expect to see a lot more Chad next week and we hope you’re as excited as we are,” Chris Harrison reveals in his blog, sharing that fans should just get used to him as he will continue to appear on the show.

Harrison is teasing that plenty of drama will happen on the upcoming two-episode week of The Bachelorette. Fans will get to see episodes on how Monday night and Tuesday night, and the extended episodes could be due to the drama with Johnson and the other contestants. The previews do show some bloody hands and possibly some fighting. It will definitely be interesting to see if Jojo decides to keep him around, especially since Harrison is so understanding of Johnson.

What do you think of Chris Harrison’s opinion of Johnson? Do you think he will end up going far on The Bachelorette since Chris is telling people to get used to him? Or do you think Chris Harrison will end up kicking him off the show due to his violent threats?
