Lisa Vanderpump On Gorilla Death And Her Yulin Efforts: Is One Man Filming Cruelty For Her?

Lisa Vanderpump is one passionate woman when it comes to animals. It’s no secret that she wants to take in as many animals as possible, as she tends to adopt dogs when they need a home. She also has a few mini ponies and two swans at her Villa Blanca home. But over the past couple of years, Lisa Vanderpump has been working to educate people about the Yulin festival in China, where dogs are tortured. Since Lisa is so passionate about animals, she had a few things to say about the incident at the Cincinnati Zoo this week, when a gorilla was killed after a boy fell into its den.

According to a new tweet, Lisa Vanderpump feels bad for the gorilla who did nothing wrong when the 4-year-old boy fell into its den during a visit. The parents didn’t pay attention to the boy when he fell into the cage, and now the gorilla has been euthanized. Vanderpump revealed that she felt horrible for the animal, who did nothing wrong.

“Oh the poor gorilla, he did nothing wrong, if you watch the video, so sad… as a mother I would’ve jumped in too,” Lisa Vanderpump revealed on Twitter after watching CNN and learning about the outcome of the child falling into the animal’s den.

There are mixed feelings about the gorilla incident. While some people claim that the gorilla may have tried to hurt the child, others say that the gorilla held the child’s hand as his parents worked on getting the child out of the den. Lisa only saw the positive in the animal’s behavior, as she shared her thoughts on social media.

Of course, Lisa has been busy with another cause when this gorilla incident surfaced on social media this week. Vanderpump has been working on spreading awareness about the Yulin dog festival in China, especially since she is so passionate about dogs. This has been featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she’s now sharing pictures of the dogs that are being tortured, as the Yulin festival is about to take place.

“The cruelty Ken Todd and I have seen, pictures video is beyond. Marc Ching has seen it personally. But our voices are being heard #Congress,” Lisa Vanderpump revealed on Twitter after she was briefly criticized for sharing very graphic pictures of the dogs being placed in boiling water.

While some people were a bit critical of Vanderpump’s pictures, others felt it was necessary to see. And while Lisa posted these pictures, some people could not look at them.

“I feel such a coward when I’m not able to look at the pics. But you have my support 100%. Even if it’s a retweet,” one person wrote to Vanderpump, who replied with, “they haunt me too, but that’s what motivates me.”

Vanderpump is pushing for people to take action against the Yulin festival, as she wants to stop the festival. On Twitter, she revealed that her partner, John Sessa, was traveling to China to film some of the captive dogs, because it is important for people to see it. And Vanderpump has been sharing his updates on Twitter, as he has arrived safely in China.

“UPDATE: Safely made it to China & heading to the triad to help the 300 dogs stopped on their way to #Yulin,” Sessa revealed on his Twitter account, with Lisa Vanderpump adding, “Everybody send him your luck as my partner travels to Yulin tomorrow. I shudder at the thought, but we have to know everything..”
