‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Fights Back After Miranda Simms Text Message Feud

Leah Messer and Miranda Simms were involved in a text battle on last night’s Teen Mom 2, and around the same time, the mother of three took to Twitter, where she shared a message about her haters.

After facing backlash in regard to her questionable parenting and possible abuse of her prescription pain medication, Leah Messer responded to her critics.

On May 30, Leah Messer shared a meme that was initially posted by fellow reality star Kate Gosselin last year.

During last week’s episode of Teen Mom 2, a controversial video was sent to Leah Messer, which featured her six-year-old daughter, Ali, claiming her step-mom was forcing her to carry a heavy backpack to school. Ali was also heard on the video complaining that her stepmother gave all of her attention to her new baby, Remington, instead of her and her twin sister, Aleeah.

In response to the allegations, which were brought to Miranda Simms’ attention soon after, the wife of Corey Simms contacted Leah Messer to set the record straight.

“I do care for them and try to give them the best life when they are here,” Miranda wrote, as Us Weekly revealed on May 30. “But it really bothers me you are claiming you have some sort of sneaky video of me because I have absolutely nothing to hide.”

After receiving Simms’ message, Leah Messer, who was with her friend Kayla at the time, revealed how going to rehab last year helped her deal with confrontation.

“A year ago before treatment, when Miranda texted me, I would have responded immediately,” Leah Messer said. “I would have gotten b***y right back, I would have gotten defensive right back … It’s just gonna make it 10 times worse … She is playing a mother role to my children, so I think we should have some kinda friendship.”

Later in the episode, Leah Messer’s first husband, Corey Simms, revealed he, too, felt that she handled the situation well, likely due to her 30-day treatment program in 2015.

“Miranda and I, ever since you’ve gotten back [from rehab], we’ve seen a big change,” he said. “That’s why it was the way it was … You took it as an attack towards you, and that’s not really how it was.”

When Leah Messer initially discovered news of the video, she expressed her frustration to her sister, Victoria.

“I want to save them. I want to make them feel better, I want to rescue them and I can’t. There’s nothing I can do and they’re my kids,” Leah Messer fumed, according to a report by Radar Online earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Leah Messer’s sister, Victoria, was even more upset and in addition to accusing Simms of hurting both of Leah Messer’s girls, she labeled Simms a “lazy b***h.”

“There’s nothing wrong with you going down there and saying, ‘I’m tired of my kids hurting.’ Ali has a condition, she can’t help it that she can’t carry the damn backpack. So the lazy b***h needs to pick the backpack up and carry it for her period,” Victoria suggested. “There is no reason that kid should feel that way.”

Leah Messer and Corey Simms are currently sharing custody of twins Ali and Aleeah after Simms was named as their primary custodian during a court appearance last year.
