Brandi Redmond Gives Marriage Update: How Things Are Today

Brandi Redmond’s first season on The Real Housewives of Dallas has been a dramatic one thus far, and the show is getting close to the end. But Brandi’s first season on the show may also be her last, as she has revealed that she’s contemplating whether to stay at home and say no to any potential offer that comes her way. While Redmond’s personal drama with LeeAnne Locken took center stage at the beginning of the season, her marriage troubles quickly took over when Redmond’s husband, Bryan, started ignoring her. These days, Brandi is committed to working on her marriage and it appears that things are looking up.

According to a new tweet, Brandi Redmond is now revealing that she and her husband went on a vacation for the Memorial Day weekend. The two needed some alone time and they decided to go somewhere warm. Last week, Brandi filmed the Real Housewives of Dallas reunion special, so one can imagine she needed some time with her husband to relax.

“Why do I think Brandi Redmond’s husband is secretly cute?” one person wrote to Brandi, who replied with, “He says thank you Jessica. He claims to be the third best looking male ginger.”

When the fan asked about the first two on the list, Redmond revealed, “He says he doesn’t know but obvi they are really f*cking good looking. He always says this.”

It sounds like these two are back on track in terms of their communication, flirting, and having fun. Maybe Bryan was just stressed out at work and brought it home with him. Or maybe Brandi Redmond was just too needy during a bad time for him, which caused some troubles in the marriage. Regardless, one can imagine that Redmond wasn’t happy about her marital troubles playing out on television for all to see, including the infamous date where he walked out on her.

“I was nervous speaking with Bryan about the bbq because I knew he didn’t want to talk about it. He just wanted to go to dinner, have some drinks and spend alone time together,” Redmond reveals in her Real Housewives of Dallas blog, when she took him out to dinner to talk about their issues.

While Bryan had expected to just have some dinner and drinks, Redmond decided to bring up the fact that he wasn’t there for her emotionally. When this scene was filmed, she had just spent hours with her grandfather, getting to know him. Rather than being there to support her, Bryan had gone golfing with a friend and had come home drunk. And Brandi wanted her husband to know that it wasn’t alright with her. He ended up walking out on Redmond, leaving her stranded at the bar.

“I’ll admit this date was hard and I couldn’t line up my words correctly and Bryan is a straight shooter. Bryan is incredible and I can’t thank him enough for all that he does for my family. However, he doesn’t like drama or confrontation so this just annoyed him even more. My tears set him off and my heart was aching. When he walked away it made me regret trying to talk to him. I love him so much and my heart was heavy. Bryan and I are no strangers to ups and downs and I assure you we love each other,” Brandi Redmond explains in her blog, according to Bravo.

Despite going through some troubles, it sounds like these two are getting back on track. One can imagine that Brandi will give an update on the reunion special, which is set to air in June.
