Nick Jonas Joins ‘X Factor’ As Mentor
If you’re looking to start a career as a pop singer, Nick Jonas is probably a good person to turn to for help. The Jonas Brother turned Broadway star will be serving as mentor on next season of The X Factor.
According to Playbill, Jonas will be taking a few singers under his wing during the judges’ house portion of the show. The judges’ house portion of The X Factor is where the show will cut down the list of contestants to just 16 performers. Jonas will reportedly be helping Demi Lovato mentor her group of singers.
It isn’t clear who Jonas and Lovato will be helping on their way to stardom but according to the Hollywood Reporter the two teen icons will be mentoring solo singers between the ages of 12 and 16.
Britney Spears will reportedly taken on the middle group between 17 to 24 and L.A. Reid will mentor singers above the age of 25. Cowell will supposedly be in charge of group performers.
If the Nick Jonas news isn’t big enough, Justin Bieber is also reportedly joining the show.
Bieber started the rumor mill churning yesterday when he Tweeted that he spent the day with L.A. Ried.

Jonas involvement with The X Factor may come as a surprise to some people since Jonas has been rumored for the final judges seat onAmerican Idol.
