Josh Duggar Wants Own TV Show, Talks ‘Difficult’ Days After Cheating & Porn Sex Scandals: Anna Duggar Pregnant?
Josh Duggar is seeking some sympathy for the challenges he faces after months in rehab following a series of sex scandals. Beginning with the reports that he molested several underage girls, including some of his sisters, Josh subsequently admitted to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar, and an addiction to porn when the Ashley Madison website hackers revealed he had used the site for infidelity. Now that Duggar is out of rehab, he and Anna shared that they are in counseling as they attempt to repair their marriage, reported Us Weekly.
“As we enter into a long family weekend together, we want to thank each of you for the prayers, love and encouragement you’ve sent our way. Since the residential treatment program ended, we have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing.”
In addition, the Duggars revealed that they face challenges in restoring their relationship.
“Some days are very difficult,” they declared. “It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship.”
Josh, 28, exited rehab in March. He spent six months at the treatment center, which is faith-based and located in Rockford, Illinois. Duggar shocked fans of the now-defunct 19 Kids and Counting a year ago when he was reported to have molested five girls in 2002. Among them were two of his sisters, Jill and Jessa, who identified themselves as among his victims.
“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” stated Duggar at the time.
“While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife. I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family.”
Josh subsequently left his position as executive director of the conservative lobbying group Family Research Council. The family lost income when TLC made the decision to cancel 19 Kids And Counting.
But is Anna pregnant again? That’s the report about Josh’s 27-year-old wife from a source cited by the Stir.
The insider revealed that Duggar and Anna have returned to their “normal sex routine,” adding that it’s possible she is “already pregnant.” However, the financial aspect is what reportedly concerns the Duggars the most.
“It’s the last thing their family needs right now. Josh just got out of rehab, and considering the family’s financial future is uncertain, the financial burden of a fifth child is the last thing Anna and Josh need,” added the source.
However, Duggar has a secret plan to fix that financial problem, according to sources cited by Design & Trend.
Unhappy with his current position working at the family’s used car dealership, in which he has to take orders from his younger brother Jedidiah, 17, Josh is focused on getting a new reality show, revealed one of the sources.
“Josh is determined to fix his image so he can make a comeback. He’ll stop at nothing to get back in front of the cameras again, especially because he’s broke and has no prospect of work. Getting another reality show is the only way he can think of to make real money.”
While some of the Duggars have starred on Jill and Jessa’s new show, Jill and Jessa: Counting On, including Anna, Josh has been noticeably absent. But he is hoping that his wife can boost his chances of returning to reality TV.
“Josh is having Anna reach out to people like Dr. Phil and Megyn Kelly so he can have his mea culpa moment,” clarified the insider. “If that goes well and people are sympathetic towards him, he is sure he can convince TLC to give him and Anna a spinoff — something to do with healing their marriage within the Christian faith.”
