‘Game Of Thrones’ Actress Sahara Knite Destined To Become ‘UK’s First Muslim Porn Star’

'Game of Thrones'

Game of Thrones actress Sahara Knite is on her way to becoming U.K.’s first Muslim adult film star. It sounds like she’s trying to move into Mia Khalifa’s territory, even if the fellow adult star currently lives in the U.S.

Sahara Knite, whose real name is Saeeda Vorajee, appeared on the popular HBO series as a King’s Landing prostitute. Before appearing on the how, she has dubbed herself as U.K.’s first Muslim adult film star. Her family is originally from Gujarat, India, but then they moved to London in 1960. Fifteen years later, Knite was born in 1975. She grew up attending mosques and studying the Quran for most of her childhood and teenage years.

Although Knite was raised in a traditional Islamic upbringing, she had an interest working in the adult industry once she graduated high school.

After she worked as a clothing technologist in the fashion industry for six months, she decided to try something a little more hardcore. Sahara had to keep her risque job a secret from her deeply religious parents who would disown her if they found out what she was really doing behind their backs. But eventually they found out through one of Sahara’s friends, who blabbed after they found her movies online. By then, her family already received hate mail by various Muslim groups.

That didn’t stop Knite’s plan from becoming the next big thing. She set her sights even higher by appearing on Game of Thrones in Seasons 1 and 2. Since leaving the popular fantasy series, Knite has continued her work in the adult entertainment industry, but would still like to make a comeback on either the small or big screen.

According to Sahara Knite’s Twitter account, her official job description reads as “Indian porn star, qualified massage therapist, private session wrestler.” She also offers other services such as phone and web cam sex. Sahara uses social media to offer these additional services while appearing in almost 60 adult films.

Game of Thrones is notorious for using gluttonous (and oftentimes unnecessary) nudity and explicit sex scenes on its show. Most of its sex scenes are so graphic that they often use real adult actresses like Sahara Knite, according to CelebrityHealthFitness.com. The use of GoT’s nonstop nudity and sex scenes are what gives the show its appeal among men, young and old.

Even some of the actors on the show have defended their right to be naked, just as long as it’s fair. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Taragaryen, says there should as much naked men as there is naked women.

“I feel like there’s a little bit of inequality between the amount of nudity that happens with women – this woman in particular – and what happens with the guys,” Clarke said on the Late Late Show with James Corden. “I just think that it should be even. Free the penis!”

It seems like Sahara Knite’s future will reflect Mia Khalifa’s, who is another famous Muslim adult film star. Her claim to fame was performing having sex while wearing a burqa in her first adult film. Like Knite, Khalifa received her share of hate mail and death threats from various Muslim and Lebanese groups.

That hasn’t stopped her from working in the adult industry, though. Khalifa told FAF Mag that she still films movies every “three to four months” and even works as a webcam model. She is currently signed to BangBros and Score Group.

“A day at the office is me going in at 9 to webcam and avoiding webcaming by bouncing around the office bothering people until someone catches me and sends me back to webcam. Then I go into my room and eat sh*t on ESPN.com or Warchant.com until someone catches me again and makes me get on cam. But bang bros found me after I had done a scene with Score Group (my first scene) and they asked me if I would shoot for them.”

If Sahara doesn’t find much work in the adult industry, she knows she can always find her way back to the small screen. Watch Game of Thrones on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
