It’s about time for the Southern Charm season 3 reunion show to be filmed. Much to the dismay of some of the show’s fans, the Season 1 and 2 reunion shows were filmed not in Charleston, where the show takes place, but in New York City. For Season 2, Kathryn Dennis, Thomas Ravenel, Cameran Eubanks, Craig Conover, Landon Clements, Shep Rose, and Whitney Sudler-Smith joined Andy Cohen on his Watch What Happens Live talk show set, which is known as the Clubhouse, to argue about what happened over the season. Will the Season 3 reunion show again be filmed in the Clubhouse or will the cast get a proper set, a set that’s located in Charleston and styled to reflect the city?

On Tuesday, Shep revealed that the reunion will again take place in New York City. He did not clarify whether it’ll take place in the Clubhouse again or in a bigger set somewhere else in the city. Shep did make clear that he’s not happy with the location choice. He voiced his opinion that having the reunion show filmed in Charleston would have been so beautiful and fun.
@10ThoughtsBlog hell no. In New York again. Sucks. Charleston would be so beautiful and fun. Oh well.

The fact that the reunion show is being filmed in New York City doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll be filmed in the Clubhouse again. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Real Housewives of Dallas cast just filmed their reunion show in New York City. They filmed in a different set that was decked out in a Texas glamour style.
Also, it seems that the Clubhouse won’t fit all of the people that will be taking part in the reunion show. Jennifer Snowden, who is not a starring cast member, but is regularly seen on the show as Kathryn’s close friend, tweeted early last week that she was shopping for something to wear to the reunion show. Jennifer, who is currently pregnant with her first child, complained about finding something to wear when she looks like a puffer fish.

The Southern Charm Season 2 reunion show only included the starring cast members, but it seems that Season 3’s reunion show, as evidenced by Jennifer’s tweet, will include some of the recurring cast members. Besides Jennifer, who else may be joining the Southern Charm stars in the hot seat? It may include Patricia Altschul, mother of Whitney Sudler-Smith and a vocal critic of Kathryn Dennis’, K. Cooper Ray, who started off as Patricia’s friend but is now a friend of Kathryn’s, and JD and Elizabeth Madison, close friends of Thomas Ravenel’s and godparents of his and Kathryn’s daughter. There is also Danni Baird, Shep Rose’s ex-girlfriend, who is friends with most everyone in the group.

It’s likely that for the reunion, Kathryn and Thomas will take the seats closest to host Andy Cohen. Like Season 2, Season 3 has focused heavily on Kathryn’s tumultuous relationship with Thomas. Currently on the show, Kathryn is heavily pregnant with her and Thomas’ second child and due to give birth soon. Previous episodes have shown her and Thomas arguing over many things, including co-parenting their first child and money. On the latest episode, Kathryn flipped out after Thomas, just days prior to Kathryn’s inducement date, said that he was joining Whitney Sudler-Smith, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover on their trip to Los Angeles. Thomas ended up bailing on the trip and apologizing to Kathryn after he realized his mistake.
Yet it seems that viewers may see more fights between Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis as the Southern Charm season progresses. The preview for Monday’s upcoming episode shows JD reminding Thomas that Kathryn was also dating other people around the time that she conceived and suggesting that he get a paternity test to make sure that he’s the father. Will he actually do it and what will Kathryn’s reaction be to his request? Thomas tells JD that he’ll get one just to make sure, but then in his confessional interview, he said that the baby boy is his regardless.
