Khloe Kardashian Says Scott Disick Will Always Be Her Best Friend

Khloe Kardashian clearly doesn’t care about the state of her sister’s relationship with Scott Disick; no matter what happens between Scott and Kourtney, Khloe will always consider him to be her “bestie”.

The reality star wished Scott a happy birthday earlier this week and made sure to announce that he would always be her brother. The duo has a history of sharing photos on social media of one another being silly and always appear to be having fun no matter what drama might be going on with the rest of the family.

The pair had even made headlines with their behavior in the past after some fans thought maybe they were a bit too comfortable with one another.

“On this season of Kourtney & Khloé Take The Hamptons, they’ve already slept in the same bed, talked about sex, discussed herpes and Scott even touched her butt! Do you know any siblings that are this affectionate? No, you don’t,” claimed E! News in 2014. The story came after a tabloid headline which claimed that the duo was madly in love with one another, and Khloe later took to social media to poke fun at the tale, saying it was better than a “telenovela”.

Khloe joined Scott on a private jet on Friday and headed to Las Vegas to celebrate, along with Kourtney and rapper Tyga. Khloe may have been in the mood to get away at any rate, since she recently filed for divorce from Lamar Odom. Although the process had been initiated before, Khloe backed away from finalizing it last fall when Lamar was found unconscious from an alleged overdose in a Nevada brothel. After rushing to his side in the hospital–along with her family–Khloe continued to support Lamar throughout his rehabilitation but apparently decided that the time is right to move on.

“This was always the plan. The divorce has never been officially off. Khloe was waiting for the timing to be right,” a source told People.

Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been extremely supportive of Lamar in every way, from helping him make a move to a new home to lending financial assistance, which she will continue to do. While her family has stayed behind her during it all, a source says they’re happy she’s finally going to be able to get on with her life. Khloe’s happy, as well, if her attitude at Scott’s party was any indication.

“She was really in a great mood. Very bubbly and happy. She played with her nieces and nephews. She is the best aunt. Everyone in her family is happy that she is moving on. She has all the support possible,” a source told People.

Once aboard the jet, Disick and his extended family and friends began the celebration with a candle-filled cake, which was documented on camera for the reality stars’ show.

Once they arrived at their destination, Khloe changed into a raspberry latex dress that made headlines while Scott kept it simple in jeans and a tee as the group partied it up at the Mirage. It’s not the first time lately that Khloe has garnered attention for her outfits, especially since she began giving her body a total makeover. The process of fitness has been heavily documented on Khloe’s social media accounts and in her book, Strong Looks Better Naked, and she’s been open about her experimentation with injectables. She spoke up recently about her sister Kylie’s journey, addressing the rumors about her lips.

“I’m really proud of Kylie. She’s gotten so much sh*t for her lips, but it was very much for her. That was only about her and nobody else. It was an insecurity she’s always had. When I was trying to understand why she was doing that so young, I’d see all of her pictures and she’d always do cute, sexy poses but covering her mouth—that’s when I understood. It made her feel so much better about herself. That’s all she did, and I’m proud she stuck to her guns…There were rumors, and we don’t like to confront rumors. They would never end if we did that. I’m proud of her for doing what was best for herself,” Khloe Kardashian said.
