Kylie Jenner is speaking out as rumors swirl claiming that Kylie gave her ex-boyfriend Tyga $2 million.
Kylie took to Twitter to address the rumors that Tyga allegedly owes her the serious amount of cash, where she claimed that any reports suggesting the rapper borrowed $2 million from her during their two-year romance are nothing but “lies.”
Jenner made the admission in reply to a fan who tweeted the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, “Just read on @balleralert that @Tyga finessed @KylieJenner out of 2 Mill hahahaa #FINESSED,” where Kylie was quick to dispel the money reports.
The claims were first reported by Radar Online earlier this week, as the site alleged that Kylie had been “bankrolling” her now ex-boyfriend Tyga throughout their two-year romance.
An insider told the site that “Kylie had been bankrolling Tyga for well over a year” and had supposedly spent so much cash on the rapper in the past year that she was “finding herself short on cash as a result” of her alleged generosity.
According to the insider, Kylie recently began “begging” Tyga to pay her back for the money she gave him during their relationship after their split and claimed that Tyga was “shocked” when Jenner started asking him to start paying her back.
“He was shocked when she asked to be paid, telling her he thought the money was a gift, not a loan,” a source claimed, alleging that the total the rapper now owed Jenner is “over $2 million.”
“She was always helping him, paying his legal bills when he was getting out of his record contract and she funding most of his latest album, which flopped,” the source continued.
The site then went on to claim that Kylie’s supposed lending to her former boyfriend left Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, pretty angry, and even claimed that Kris his now telling her daughter sign up for a money course to help her better manage her finances.
“Kris now wants her on an accountancy course because she’s obviously completely clueless about money,” the insider said.
But despite the reports, Kylie appeared to confirm in her social media message that she’s not having financial trouble, which came just weeks after Jenner spoke out about being financially savvy in an interview with Glamour U.K.
Speaking out in the May issue of the magazine, Kylie contradicted Radar Online‘s recent report by admitting that she’s “likes to know exactly what’s going on” when it comes to her finances before admitting that she’s “actually quite careful with what I spend.”
Kylie Jenner then went on to tell the magazine that she’s made her own money for the past five years through her various business ventures and confessed that she hasn’t relied on mom Kris Jenner financially since 2011.
“I haven’t had a dollar of my mom’s money in five years,” Kylie told Glamour. “Ever since I started earning my own money, I’ve paid for everything: all my cars, houses, clothes, everything.”
Kylie then admitted in the British version of the magazine that she doesn’t “depend on a man or anybody else,” before confessing that she considers herself to be an “inspiration” to young women because of her financial independence.
“I make my own money and start my own businesses, and I feel like I’m an inspiration for a lot of young girls who want to stand on their own,” Kylie said.
