Keke Palmer To Replace Tamar Braxton On ‘The Real’ [Report]

According to reports, Keke Palmer could be taking over Tamar Braxton’s recently vacated seat on The Real.

Bossip is reporting that Palmer is currently in the running to sit alongside Tamara Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon following the news that Braxton was suddenly let go from the daytime talk show last week.

A source recently alleged to the site that “the person who’s going to replace Tamar is Keke Palmer” and claimed that Palmer was personally chosen to potentially sit alongside Tamar’s former co-hosts by The Real‘s executive producer, Rachel Miskowiec.

“Rachel produced the pilot for Telepictures with Keke Palmer last summer. She likes Keke and Keke of course wants to do another talk show,” the insider added to the site this week, adding that Keke is currently “on the fast track” to taking over Braxton’s former role.

The Real has yet to confirm or deny reports that Keke Palmer will be taking over Tamar Braxton’s seat on the show, but it appeared that Palmer could have been dropping a very cryptic message in her recent Instagram post.

Taking to the photo sharing site on May 27, Keke posted a shot of herself walking the streets alongside the caption, “Breakin’ u off is so real,” which appeared to be lyrics from Drake’s track “With You” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Claims that Keke Palmer could be taking over Tamar’s seat on The Real come just days after the Jasmine Brand claimed that Warner Bros. had “not determined” if they would replace Braxton on the series or if the show would move on with a four co-host format with Tamara, Adrienne, Jeannie, and Loni, who are all reported to be continuing on with the show.

The site also claimed Tamar’s former co-hosts were all “devastated” by the news that Braxton would not be returning for the upcoming third season and claimed they “really get along behind-the-scenes and are p**** that they were left in the dark” when it came to Braxton’s departure.

But while The Real is staying tight-lipped amid reports that Keke will be joining the show, Bossip is now claiming that it was Rachel Miskowiec who Tamar was referring to in her now infamous Instagram post where Braxton claimed she was “stabbed in the back” by someone on the show.

“Rachel Miskowiec, she is the executive producer of The Real and she is the person who is behind Tamar getting fired,” a source close to Braxton told the site earlier this week prior to reports that claimed Keke Palmer could be joining the series, alleging that “she is who Tamar was talking about.”

Tamar Braxton took to Instagram on May 22 to confirm that she will be leaving The Real and slammed an unnamed assailant who Braxton claimed got her fired from the show.

“I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted (not my man or my sisters),” Tamar captioned a photo on the social media site. “I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch and it’s not in good taste to tell you who…… but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own.”

“Know that everyone who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light,” Tamar Braxton continued in the seriously candid post. “If you thought for 1 sec u played me…..In the late great prince and the amazing Beyoncé voice you PLAYED yourself.”
