Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis are reportedly planning a wedding for this summer — July to be exact.

Is one of the world’s most eligible bachelors about to become a married man? That certainly seems to be the case now that wedding rumors for Jeter and Davis are heating up. According to the New York Daily News, Derek and Hannah are planning a July wedding that will take place in Napa Valley. Although the actual date has not been confirmed, there is speculation that the couple will make it official over the July 4 weekend.

The wedding of Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter will take place on a Saturday. A source close to the couple has revealed to the Daily News that a croquet party will kick off the wedding weekend on Friday night. As of now, the actual venue for the wedding is still being kept under wraps.

Despite the breaking news that Derek and Hannah will tie the knot this summer, the very private couple has kept their wedding planning pretty tip lipped. The only real detail to be revealed before now is that Davis will be wearing a Vera Wang dress. Don’t expect too many other details to be shared until after the big day.

The news that Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis are planning a wedding for this July comes less than a year after the two got engaged. Last fall, the retired baseball stud confirmed he had asked the Sports Illustrated model to marry him. He spilled the beans by simply referring to her as his fiancée. Jeter was talking about his new dog when he made the reference in a blog post on his website.

“I had no idea what I was in for as a new dog owner. He was a Christmas gift last year from my fiancé, whose family had Mastiffs growing up. I’ve never owned a pet in my life.”

Not long after his reveal, Davis was spotted wearing her amazing cushion cut diamond ring. Jeter certainly hit it out of the park when it came to finding the right ring for his soon-to-be wife.

After almost four years of dating, Hannah Davis will marry Derek Jeter this summer, breaking the hearts of millions of women around the world. The hunky baseball player spent his entire career dating, but his main priority was always his career. Now that he is officially retired, it looks like he is putting his bachelor days behind him.

For her part, the bride will celebrate her wedding and last days of being a single woman with pals in Miami sometime next month. Davis and her friends will jet off for a girl’s weekend as Hannah prepares to say goodbye to being single and hello to being Mrs. Derek Jeter. Yep, she is one lucky girl that is for sure!

According to Jeter’s longtime pal Jorge Posada, Derek is a pretty lucky guy himself. The former Yankees catcher opened up at the Lou Gehrig Sports Awards dinner last fall about the model, saying that “she is amazing” and “everyone loves her”.

In July, Derek Jeter will marry Hannah Davis in Napa Valley, according to the latest round of rumors surrounding the couple. As mentioned above, the soon-to-be husband and wife have kept their wedding planning on the down low, which means that nothing will be confirmed until an official wedding announcement is made.
