‘The Bachelorette’s’ Jordan Rodgers — Everything We Know About JoJo Fletcher’s Early Favorite

The newest season of The Bachelorette is now underway, and an early favorite has already emerged for JoJo Fletcher. After having her heart broken by Ben Higgins just six months ago, Fletcher already has her sights set on a new man.

According to People, Jordan Rodgers has emerged as the clear frontrunner on Season 12 of The Bachelorette. Not only did Rodgers and Fletcher exchange a few kisses in the opening episode, but he also snagged the First Impression Rose.

As the season continues to develop and the drama between the contestants ramps up, what else do we know about Fletcher’s early favorite?

For starters, Rodgers’ claim to fame is in his last name. While Rodgers played for a short time in the NFL, his older brother, Aaron Rodgers, is currently the superstar quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.

For his part, Rodgers landed a spot with the Jacksonville Jaguars back in 2013. He jumped around the league, playing for both the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before retiring from football.

Apart from his athletic history, Rodgers is also a scholar and graduate from Vanderbilt University.

According to Hollywood Life, Rodgers also has another brother, Luke, who happens to be Pro Merch’s CEO.

Lastly, Rodgers has been a fan of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for a long time. In fact, Rodgers posted a few messages on social media during Juan Pablo’s run on The Bachelor. Not only was he pulling for Claire Crawley to win it all, but he also dished on the show after the finale.

Considering his own background and family connections, Rodgers clearly has a lot to bring to the table. In fact, ABC News reports that Fletcher was not sure what to think prior to meeting the former NFL player.

“I didn’t know what to expect from him. I knew that he was cute, and I knew that he had some sort of fame, but it didn’t really play a factor in our relationship right off the bat,” Fletcher told the outlet. “And night one I was expecting that to be a story with Jordan but he didn’t lead with that.”

Despite his claim to fame, Rodgers focused on his own accomplishments. “He was his own man,” Fletcher noted. “And that’s something we ended up discussing as the season went on.”

Although it still isn’t known if Rodgers will end up with Fletcher’s final rose, although Reality Steve claims that the two are currently engaged.

This has not been confirmed, although it is clear that Rodgers is Fletcher’s favorite.

That being said, there are a few things that reportedly happened prior to production that sheds a little doubt about Rodgers’ motives on the show.

While rumors surfaced that Rodgers had been in contact with Fletcher prior to filming The Bachelorette, Rodgers is also thought to have hooked up with another girl right before his time on the show.

It isn’t known who Rodgers was with before he started filming for The Bachelorette and whether or not they were serious about a relationship. Whatever the truth of the matter, fans should not expect it to affect his relationship with Fletcher.

At the same time, rumors have also surfaced that Rodgers is only using his time on The Bachelorette to land a spot on the next season of The Bachelor. If that is his ultimate goal, then he will have to break things off with Fletcher before he reaches the final round.

At this point, it is too early to tell what will happen between Fletcher and Rodgers. While he might not make it to the final round, his early success should see him far into the competition.

Fletcher’s run on The Bachelorette continues Monday nights on ABC.
