Khloe Kardashian Talks Getting Over Someone Amid Lamar Odom Divorce: Is She Getting Back Together With French Montana?

As Khloe Kardashian prepares for divorce, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is discussing the end of a relationship with her fans.

Before refiling documents to divorce Lamar Odom, with whom she initially called it quits in 2013, Khloe Kardashian opened up about the ups and downs of moving on.

“I don’t believe that there is a timeline for grieving or healing or getting over someone or something,” Khloe Kardashian told listeners during a snippet from one of her recent livestreams, according to a report by People Magazine on May 25. “I think that we all heal on our own time – some are faster than others, and I think some loves are really just harder to get over than others.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom got married in September 2009 after just 30 days of dating, and four years later, as reports claimed Odom was using drugs and cheating on his wife with a number of other women, Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce.

“I would say the busier you are, the less you’re going to think about something, so try to consume your thoughts with really productive things,” Khloe Kardashian continued of moving on. “Try to just find a hobby and keep yourself busy in a really positive way, or surround yourself by friends and family that you love and that really do occupy your mind.”

While Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce over two years ago, she and Odom have remained in contact since their split. When the former NBA pro suffered a drug overdose in October 2015, Khloe Kardashian rushed to his side in Nevada, where she remained until he was transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles. Since then, Khloe Kardashian has remained supportive of Odom’s recovery and has included him in her family life on multiple occasions. However, Odom recently appeared to have returned to his bad habits, which has left Kardashian conflicted.

Although Khloe Kardashian desires to move on from her and Odom’s marriage, she still hopes for the best for her soon-to-be ex-husband, regardless of any questionable behavior on his part.

“You don’t technically always have to fully get over someone. It’s okay to move on from them, but you can still love them from a distance,” she said. “If people are destructive to you emotionally, that still doesn’t mean you can’t love them – you just have to learn to take better care of yourself.”

In other Khloe Kardashian news, her brother-in-law, rapper Kanye West, is hoping to see her reconcile with her ex-boyfriend French Montana, who was her first relationship after the end of her marriage in 2013.

“Kanye’s a big fan of French and doesn’t understand why [Khloe Kardashian] doesn’t give him another chance,” a family insider revealed to Radar Online on May 25. “He’s been singing French’s praises to her.”

Khloe Kardashian dated French Montana from 2014 to 2015 and has been in regular contact with the rapper in the months since they split last summer. However, when it comes to an official romance, Khloe Kardashian appears to be keeping things casual with French Montana — at least for now.

In addition to French Montana, Khloe Kardashian has also been linked to rapper The Game and Houston Rockets player James Harden in the years since she and Odom parted ways.
