Louis Tomlinson And His Girlfriend Are Hearing Wedding Bells
Louis Tomlinson of One Direction and his girlfriend, actress Danielle Campbell, will soon be hearing wedding bells.
Louis and Danielle were spotted, along with Tomlinson’s assistant and childhood friend Oli Wright, heading to the wedding of Jamie Vardy.
The wedding took place at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, reports BBC News. A slew of “stars from the worlds of music and football” were in attendance.
Louis’ mate James Vardy is an English footballer who plays for Premier League club Leicester City. Louis Tomlinson has many friends and business partners in the world of football, and he even made a bid to buy his team, Doncaster Rovers, together with former Doncaster player John Ryan, reports the Guardian.
At the time of the bid, which sadly fell through, Tomlinson spoke to the press about his love of Doncaster and football in general.
“For me, this is all about the football, the community and restoring the excitement and desire to making Doncaster Rovers the most exciting club to play for in Yorkshire. I want to see the Doncaster Rovers supporters get the club the success it deserves.”
Louis called the success of Doncaster his “personal passion.”
“I grew up in Doncaster and have felt the love for football run through the town, it’s for that reason that I have a real personal passion to make Doncaster Rovers a success story.”
It hasn’t been all love between Louis Tomlinson and Doncaster decision-makers — Louis hit out at Doncaster bosses over their decision to fire Paul Dickov, who is known to be Tomlinson’s friend, according to the Mirror.
“[Louis Tomlinson] thinks it’s unfair the former Oldham manager was sacked given the lack of financial backing he was given.”
Vardy wedding pictures released so far suggest that Danielle pulled her hair into an uncharacteristic up-do for the occasion. The actress opted for a bronzed face, with a touch of highlighter on her cheekbones, and allowed dark tendrils of hair to trail down her neck. The private car picture obtained by the Daily Mail shows Danielle wearing a cream coat, but the actress no doubt removed the winter garment to reveal a glamorous outfit befitting the Vardy nuptials after she entered Peckforton Castle with Louis Tomlinson.
Louis and Danielle have been dating for less than a year, but J-4 has reported that the couple are already planning their own nuptials.
Tomlinson apparently wants to prove to his girlfriend that “he is serious.”
“Louis wants to prove to Danielle that he’s serious. They want to get married on his estate in a small ceremony. They want to tie the knot soon and have a huge wedding celebration later, once all the child custody issues are solidified. She’s awesome with Freddie and has been a rock for Louis through everything.”
The couple have powered through the many scandals that have plagued their short union. Louis’ ex Briana was said to be devastated when Tomlinson began dating Campbell while she was still pregnant, and she even reportedly banned Louis from her home after he turned up with Danielle to collect his son at the start of a visitation period.
Danielle has been targeted by suspicious One Direction fans who accuse her of using Louis for publicity, among other things. The couple were also targeted by invasive paps during a recent holiday in Mexico. One paparazzo managed to obtain topless photographs of Danielle, which he sold to TMZ.
The Daily Mail reports that Louis Tomlinson’s friend James Vardy is also experiencing some backlash over his romantic choices.
Vardy’s parents, Lisa and Phil, reportedly do not approve of his choice of wife.
“Lisa and her husband Phil — who has raised the footballer since he was a baby — do not approve of their son’s choice of wife, former nightclub promotions worker Becky Nicholson, 34. Rather than celebrate the union, the couple have chosen to stay away, along with Jamie’s grandparents.”
