‘The Real’ Former Host Tamar Braxton Warns Betrayer To ‘Watch Your Back!’

Tamar Braxton will not be returning to The Real as one of the show’s co-hosts, and although rumors are flying wildly about how Braxton’s departure really came about, the only thing known for a fact is that Tamar is gone. Even after Braxton posted a picture with sister and singer Toni Braxton, captioned with a message that all but calls out those whom Tamar feels betrayed her, The remaining co-hosts of The Real, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley, have each been relatively tight-lipped about the incident.

The Real Gets Real With Tamar Braxton’s Highly Publicized Exit

It seems there were things going on behind the scenes at The Real to which the public wasn’t privy because the earliest inkling that things were amiss between the ladies of The Real came with the picture Tamar shared of herself with sister, Toni Braxton. While the picture, itself, was endearing with its devotion to family and the bond between sisters, it was Tamar’s caption that really drew fans and critics, stirring a firestorm of comments and accusations. Braxton all but named those she felt had betrayed her, while also letting her enemies know she wouldn’t be forced off of The Real without a fight.

“I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted ( not my man or my sisters) I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch (????) and it’s not in good taste to tell you who…… but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own,” said Braxton in the caption of her picture.

Tamar went on to advise her fans and followers, as well as her own friends, that everyone is not to be trusted, implying that her fellow The Real co-hosts are not all as delightful as they may seem on the air. Braxton suggests that the women are not all friends, though it may seem that way to viewers of The Real.

“But know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light.”

“I am Tamar Braxton. And if you thought for 1 sec u played me…..In the late great prince and the amazing Beyoncé voice you PLAYED yourself???? to God be the Glory and I will be taking a short break from ALL social media…until then?? yourself and WATCH YOUR BACK,” posted Tamar.

Tamar Braxton May Be Out, But She’s Not Down

Closing out her Instagram statement, Tamar expresses her love for her sister and acknowledges that Toni has always been there for her in the way that real family always is, which may have served to renew her ambition and inspiration in pursuing her own solo career. While leaving The Real was clearly not her choice, Braxton is said to be pursuing a solo career as a singer, something which has interested her for many years. Although she may have been distracted by the instant success of reality shows like Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince, as well as her duties on The Real, music has always been Tamar’s first love.

While those on the cast of The Real to have betrayed Braxton may not be known, it does seem as though one co-host, Tamera Mowry-Housley, does she a genuine love for Tamar.

“Tay Tay. Words can not express how much I will miss working with you side by side,” says Ms. Mowry-Housley in an Instagram post of her own.

Tamara seems eager to show Braxton’s fans that she was an honest friend to the fired Real co-host and that she played no part in Tamar’s departure from The Real. That’s not to suggest Tamara is being deceptive in this post because her words do seem genuinely heartfelt.

“You could always count on our end of the table to be hilarious because of our genuine banter. Our differences didn’t separate us. It actually brought us together. Beautifully. I knew I could always count on you to make me laugh. But not just any laugh. That belly laugh.”

Her last thoughts are of Tamar Braxton herself, and it seems Mowry-Housley feels she has lost a true ally, as though there are untold feuds going on behind the scenes at The Real.

“Thank you for understanding me always. In front of the camera but most importantly behind. Love you. Always.”
