Jessa Duggar Celebrates Ben Seewald Birthday With Instagram Photos

Jessa Duggar didn’t let her husband Ben Seewald’s birthday fly by without some sort of celebration on her Instagram! While she has not announced what they did exactly on their birthday, who it probably included a night on the town without their baby son, she uploaded a photo collage of them sharing their love to the world.

Jessa and Ben Seewald have been married for just a few months before she announced that she was pregnant with his first child. Since then, their love has only blossomed in the eyes of the public, taking trips together to visit her older sister Jill in Central America as well as often going on dates to ea5 tacos, which turns out to be their favorite food.

They also indulge themselves in sweets and other treats.

Even before his birthday, Jessa has been filling her Instagram with pictures that show the public her happy family life. In fact, almost every other post on her social media account is of her baby son Spurgeon, who is growing at a remarkable rate. Check out the latest video showing how big he has gotten!

Maybe she has been posting a lot of photos to make sure that she stays the more popular one on Instagram when compared to her older sister Jill. Jessa has 1.8 million followers while Jill only as 1.5 million. While these are high numbers, the younger Duggar sister may be acutely aware that her sister is catching up to her.

Jill Duggar also has been doing her share of baby photobombing on her account, which also shows how different her life is as a missionary in Central America.

But Jessa is more focused on her family rather than spreading the word of the Bible. She said in a recent interview that she and Ben Seewald are now opening themselves more to adoption, now that they have had a baby of their own.

“We have many friends who have walked this road, so we have seen firsthand the amazing power of adoption,” Jessa said to Us Weekly. “There are so many kids out there who are longing for the love of a family, and we feel strongly about opening our hearts and our home to welcome them in.”

She also has spoken up about parenting and how she envisions nurturing her own family.

“Spurgeon is still pretty young, but I’m sure that as he continues to grow, I will find that I tend to do some things differently than my mom did,” Jessa, 23, told Us Weekly. “That’s the beauty of the individual family. No one is identical.”

Jill and Jessa have also gotten attention for their desires to get pregnant… at the same time. The fact that the sisters are only a year apart got married and had their first baby very close to each other, they might want to have a real companionship as they go forward with their respective families.

“I think we will probably be pregnant at the same time,” Jill said to People Magazine. “But to say who will be first, well Israel is older… so we will see.”

But others have seen this as a way to continue their show Jill and Jessa: Counting On running on TLC. The fact that it is a spinoff from the cancelled 19 Kids and Counting means that if they don’t start popping out babies soon, the viewers might lose interest in the new show.
