Ashley Hebert, J.P. Rosenbaum Expecting A ‘Bachelorette’ Baby Girl
Ashley Hebert and her husband J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting their second baby, and this time around, the former Bachelorette star is ready to break out the tutus and the sparkles. Ashley, who starred on the seventh season of the hit ABC reality show, posted her big baby news on Instagram, saying she couldn’t hold her secret in any longer. Ashley captioned a photo of a blackboard that read “Ashley + JP + Ford + Baby Girl = [Heart].”
“My heart is bursting with love…” Ashley Hebert wrote. “These booties are just the start, can’t wait to stock up on cute tutus and sparkles for my #babygirl!

Ashley Hebert met her future husband J.P. Rosenbaum on The Bachelorette, and fans have been tracking the love story ever since. In addition to Ashley’s post, J.P. took to Twitter to reveal that he’s “78 percent” nervous about their new baby because it’s a girl.

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are already parents to a son, Fordham Rhys, who is 19 months old, and it’s no surprise that they already have another child on the way. Ashley previously told People that she initially wanted “back-to-back babies, but she and her husband decided to space things out just a little bit.
J.P. added that while the couple definitely wanted a sibling for Fordham, it would be hard to imagine another child as good as their first one.
“We definitely want another one, but there’s no way the second one could be as good of a baby as Ford is,” he said. “We are incredibly spoiled!”

Ashley Hebert shared their entire first pregnancy journey with fans. Ashley even had an ultrasound on live TV during the 2014 finale of The Bachelorette. At the time, Ashley and J.P. joked that they were thinking about naming their son “Harrison” after longtime show host Chris Harrison.
In an interview with E! News, Ashley’s husband credited her with coming up with their son’s unique name.
“Ashley thought of ‘Fordham’ and it just clicked with us,” the proud papa said. “We also figured it would be a great name if someday he wanted to be President.”

Ashley Hebert was working as a pediatric dentist when she began her love story nearly five years ago on the seventh season of The Bachelorette, traveling to Thailand, Hong Kong, and Fiji during her time on the ABC reality dating show. On the season finale, construction manager J.P. Rosenbaum proposed to Hebert while they were filming the final rose ceremony in Fiji. The couple’s December 2012 wedding aired as a televised special on ABC.
Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are the latest couple to announce their big news during what has become a bonafide Bachelorette baby boom. Five previous stars of the ABC reality franchise have recently announced pregnancies. In fact, with Ashley’s newly-announced pregnancy, six bachelorettes in a row are expecting babies in 2016.
In March, Bachelorette Season 4 star DeAnna Pappas gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, with husband Stephen Stagliano. Season 5 star Jillian Harris recently revealed on her blog that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Justin Pasutto later this year, and Season 6 star Ali Fedotowsky and her fiancé Kevin Manno will welcome a baby girl In July.
In addition, Season 8 star Emily Maynard is expecting her third child later this year, and Bachelorette Season 9 star Desiree Hartsock and her husband, Chris Siegfried, just announced that they will welcome their first baby later this year. It definitely sounds like Ashley Hebert’s second bundle of joy could have plenty of playmates!
