Taylor Swift has been handed with a lot of heavy drama over the weekend. Most of the drama has revolved around her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, and two friends from her model squad.
Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, and Cara Delevingne have all received death threats from the same man. The pop singer and her squad members have been allegedly targeted by an internet troll who is threatening to kill all three stars.
Police have been on the search for the man who has allegedly told Taylor on social media, “I will kill some of you,” according to TMZ. The authorities told the celebrity gossip outlet that they have been able to locate the evidence needed to take this case further, but they will comb through Twitter to track him down.
He also targeted Gigi Hadid, tweeting, “people gon die they’re gon die die die!” and has told Cara Delevingne, “I will kill your friends and I am excited about it.”
Chrissy Teigen, who is not a member of Swift’s squad, has also received death threats from the same man. He allegedly tweeted her the words, “gonna give it one shot, but I probably gonna end up murdering your friends.”
These threats are probably one of the reasons why Taylor Swift has been laying low since the 2016 Met Gala. She’s also been laying low in light of Calvin Harris’ scary car accident over the weekend. According to reports, Swift skipped the Billboard Music Awards to be by Harris’ side.
The first photos of Calvin’s wreck on Friday, May 20 have been released on The Daily Mail, and from the looks of it, the DJ is lucky to be alive. An insider told Hollywood Life that Taylor has been making sure that Calvin stays comfortable and safe during his recovery.
“Taylor has told Calvin that she doesn’t want him doing anything for the next few days, and when she sees him she will be waiting on him hand and foot. Calvin doesn’t want a fuss made, but she’s not going to give him any choice in that matter. She will be catering to him for everything he needs, even if that includes driving him around or making him a cup of tea.”
Harris survived a face laceration in the car crash. The other passenger is reported to have suffered a broken pelvis.

According to TMZ, a “VW Bug driven by a 16-year-old crossed the dividing line at around 11 PM and smashed into the SUV, ejecting one of the girls from the VW.” Harris was a passenger in the SUV that was involved in the accident. Swift has insisted that Harris should take time off from performing gigs and recording his new album so he can fully recover.
“She wants Calvin to make sure he really does take the time off needed to recover from the car crash because he’s always running at a hundred miles an hour and doesn’t know when to stop. Taylor will make sure, this time, that he puts his feet up and doesn’t lift a finger until he’s better.”
According to Calvin Harris’ Facebook page, he has been examined by doctors and was told to cancel his gig at the Omnia nightclub in Las Vegas and his headlining gig at the Hangout Music Festival in Alabama.
Because of the recent drama in her life, Taylor Swift did not attend the BBMAs on Sunday night, May 23. She was nominated for eight awards: Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Hit Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Social Media Artist, Top Touring Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Artist.
Out of the eight nominations, Taylor only received one award: Top Touring Artist, while pop contemporary Adele nearly swept the awards ceremony that night.
