Rihanna & Drake Engaged? Rihanna Rocks Huge Ring At Billboard Awards, Drake Skips Awards Show

Fans want to know if Rihanna and Drake are engaged. Gossip about a secret romance between the two stars just won’t die. After Rihanna showed up at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night wearing a huge diamond ring on her ring finger, interest in her love life has skyrocketed. Drake wasn’t at the awards show, though, after opting to golf with his buddies instead so fans were not treated to the rumored couple on the red carpet together.

Rihanna looked stunning at the Billboard Music Awards each of the three times she changed outfits. It wasn’t the shiny rust colored dress that Rihanna rocked the red carpet in, or the black and green gown that she wore to accept the Billboard Chart Achievement Award that caught the most attention. Fans loved Rihanna’s sleek black pantsuit and green boa that she wore during her performance of “Love On The Brain,” but it was a huge diamond ring that she wore throughout the night that had everyone wondering what is up with Rihanna and Drake.

Although both Rihanna and Drake have remained silent about their alleged relationship, Hollywood Life thinks they have the scoop on the “Work” singer’s ring. They claim that the sparkly stunner isn’t her engagement ring from Drake after all. Instead, they claim that the 10-carat diamond set in a thick yellow gold band is a loaner from Jacob & Co.

The Jacob and Co. ring that set the Rihanna and Drake engagement rumors on fire is actually supposed to be a pinky ring. This is why fans still believe that Rihanna might be trying to send a message by wearing the stunning piece of jewelry on the ring finger of her left hand.

Rihanna and Drake engagement rumors have heated up over the past few months after both of the singers featured each other on recent albums. Drake didn’t squash the gossip during a recent appearance on Ellen either. During his time on the talk show, Drake played “Never Have I Ever” with Ellen DeGeneres and Jared Leto. During his segment on the show, Drake admitted to making out with a woman twice his age and said he had never accidentally sent a dirty text message to the wrong person. However, he didn’t deny a secret relationship with Rihanna while talking to Ellen.

Earlier this week, Rihanna made waves when she posted a bikini photo to Instagram. In it, she was sporting a “23” written out across her abdomen in sunblock or lotion. The photo sparked rumors about a possible connection between Rihanna and Lebron James. While the two are friends and have even flown together on Lebron’s private jet, the picture may have been more telling of her relationship with Drake.

Could Rihanna have been taunting Drake about his basketball team, the Toronto Raptors, as they square off against Lebron’s Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals? It’s possible that the Instagram photo was a clue about Rihanna’s rumored relationship with Drake.

Rihanna and Drake were together recently in Las Vegas. She accompanied Drake to Sin City to support him during a secret performance he had scheduled, but she did not get on stage to sing her part in any of the songs they have made together.

Rihanna and Drake have dated before back in 2011. Although their previous relationship was brief, it was sizzling hot. Although Drake has talked about his relationship with Rihanna as being in the past, there is plenty of reason to suspect that the former pair has rekindled their romance and are just keeping it under wraps while they both deal with really busy touring schedules.

As far as fans hoping to see Rihanna and Drake on the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards together, that was a no-go. With Rihanna performing, many hoped Drake would hop on stage and do his verse on Rihanna’s hit “Work.” Instead, Drake was a no-show at the BBMAs despite having more nominations than anyone there except for The Weeknd and Justin Bieber. Rihanna performed “Love On The Brain” instead of working out a duet with her rumored lover.
