Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Engaged & Planning Baby: ‘Fired’ Christina Aguilera Causes Duo To Quit ‘Voice’?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have shared the blossoming of their romance for months, ever since they went from platonic pals on The Voice to cooing lovebirds. But has the couple become engaged?

Turning heads recently at Wango Tango, Stefani flaunted a diamond ring on her wedding finger amid the rumors that Shelton proposed and she said yes, according to the Daily Mail.

Several sources have alleged that the 46-year-old mom of three is on the verge of marrying her 39-year-old country superstar. As to the significance of that diamond ring following the finalization of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale?

The Daily Mail pointed out that it might be a promise ring from her beau.

But rather than get candid about those engagement rumors, Gwen gushed about the role that music has played in her life.

“I just can’t believe I’m here right now at Wango Tango. It just feels so exciting to have something new out there. And to have the opportunity to share my music with people,” she exclaimed. “Sharing music is so spiritual you know, it’s so healing, so incredible, so I just feel honored.”

But although Stefani did not comment on her ring, her fans did when they detected it in a photo she posted on Instagram.

“IS THAT AN ENGAGEMENT RING?!?!? Are her and Blake engaged!????” exclaimed one follower.

“Love her look & that she’s with @blakeshelton,” gushed another.

In addition to those rumors that Shelton proposed and she said yes, reports that Stefani is already pregnant with his baby have escalated.

They are reportedly “making their baby dreams come true” with IVF treatments, reports Hollywood Life, citing an insider.

“Gwen’s been told by fertility doctors that she needs to relax her strict diet and workout regimen as she hopes to become pregnant with Blake’s child. She’s gained seven pounds in the past month and has already begun IVF treatments, which also cause weight gain because of the hormones.”

The insider also describes her as willing to “do anything to get pregnant,” noting that she was informed that turning to IVF increases the chances that she could have twins.

“She would be thrilled if that happens….They’re ready for whatever the future holds,” added the source.

Since the two began their romance on The Voice, fans had hoped that they could continue to watch the lovebirds together on the reality singing competition. But when this season disappointed them by putting Christina Aguilera in the coach chair, those fans took sides, noted Us Weekly.

The Twittersphere exploded, with some missing the No Doubt frontwoman and some firmly on Team Christina.

“CHRISTINA IS BACK ON THE VOICE YAAA,” tweeted one Team Aguilera member.

“I’m happy Christina is back,” chimed in another.

The Voice has become known for changing up its coach panel, with Aguilera rotating in and out since the show debuted in 2011. And some were not thrilled to see Christina return.

“Gwen Stefani is so much hotter than Christina Aguilera that’s gotta hurt ratings. #TheVoice,” commented one fan.

Adding to the controversy, Radar Online quoted an insider claiming that Christina has heated up a feud with the lovebirds.

Aguilera had a “meltdown,” and wanted to block Stefani, according to that insider.

“Christina…is already throwing mini-tantrums about it. She said that Gwen is ‘not vocally talented’ and would not be on the show at all anymore if it was not for her relationship with Blake.”

As to what will happen next season? The official lineup for The Voice calls for Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Blake, and his buddy Adam Levine, as the Inquisitr reported.

But Stefani was reportedly so angry that she was not invited to return as a coach to replace Aguilera that she may never come back. And showing support for his girlfriend, Shelton is considering joining her as she makes a permanent exit from The Voice, according to News Every Day.

He reportedly wants to focus on other concerns, including his music as well as his relationship with his sweetheart.

As to the status of Christina? Although some reports described Aguilera as “fired” from The Voice because of her feud with Shelton and Stefani, Gossip Cop cites a source saying that although it is true that Christina will not return to The Voice for season 11, there was no such dramatic reason.

“[Aguilera] always takes a season off, and next season is no different,” clarified the source.
