Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Update: She’s In Canada, Will They Reunite?

Will Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber soon reunite? According to a report last week, Bieber is determined to surprise his ex-girlfriend during her Revival Tour concert on Monday night.

While Bieber was in Las Vegas on May 22 for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, he may be flying back to his hometown in Canada to attend Gomez’s show later night.

“Despite their crazy schedules, Justin is still eager to watch Selena perform. They will both be in Toronto at around the same time. Justin would give anything to surprise Selena in Toronto or in his hometown of London, Ontario where she’s set to preform May 23,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life last week. “Justin has two shows in Toronto this week and then he’s off for a couple of days. He’s going to do whatever he can to make it happen and show her his support.”

Although there has been no confirmation as of yet in regard to whether or not Bieber has possibly landed in Canada, Gomez took to Instagram on May 22 and shared a photo of herself with fans in Ottawa. One day prior, Gomez shared a similar Instagram photo from Winnipeg. However, Gomez’s Winnipeg photo featured her inside of the venue rather than at the arena’s exit. According to Gomez, her decision to share the photo from inside rather than outside was based on a security issue.

In recent weeks, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber haven’t been seen together at all, but according to a second report, she was hopeful that Bieber would show up to one of her concerts.

“Selena would love for Justin to come to one of her Canadian shows. Why not? It would be a hoot for her. They are still friends and text on and off. She would surely welcome his visit,” a second insider told Hollywood Life. “It gets lonely on the road so seeing a familiar face is always a pick-me-up.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated from 2010 until 2012 and have continued to give fans hope of a reconciliation ever since. Most recently, the former couple was caught interacting on social media in March, and around the same time, Gomez attended Bieber’s Los Angeles show at the Staples Center.

According to an E! News report at the time, Bieber was planning to surprise Gomez after his concert with a private screening of Titanic, but after what was likely a fight between them, he called off his plans and made an early exit from his show.

“I don’t know why he didn’t go through with it, and I also don’t know if he ever even told Selena about his plan, but I do know he is really obviously trying to date her again,” a source explained. “He wanted to do something big and extravagant for her like this and had been making arrangements for the movie date before his concert even started.”

The source continued on, revealing that Bieber canceled a fan meet and greet on the day of his would-be surprise, and after leaving his show 20 minutes before its scheduled end, Skrillex was forced to close the concert alone.

Although Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber appeared to be on the verge of a reunion just months ago, things between them appeared to take a turn for the worse in late March, and shortly after, Bieber was said to be hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian. Then, weeks after that, he and Hailey Baldwin were spotted together.
