Kim Kardashian Admits She Hung Up On Blac Chyna Because Of Something Rob Did

Kim Kardashian doesn’t look like the type who would hang up on any person, much less if the person involved is someone whom she once considered a friend.

In the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim admitted she did exactly just that when she briefly spoke on the phone with Blac Chyna, as reported by the Mirror. Kim, however, said that she didn’t do it out of malice — she did it for the simple fact that she wasn’t ready.

How exactly did the brief conversation happen? As to that, we’ve got Rob Kardashian to blame. Shortly after he and Chyna started dating a few months ago, Rob set up an ambush conversation between Kim and Blac when his sister gave him a call on the phone.

“So I called Rob and he said that Chyna wants to talk to me and I just told him that I’ll talk to her when I’m ready,” Kim told Khloe and Kourtney.

“He put me on speaker and then he said, ‘Chyna’s in the room – I just wanted to tell you so you didn’t think I was alone,'” she said. “And so she goes ‘hi’ in the background and I didn’t say anything.”

“You didn’t say hi?” a bemused Khloe asked.

“No, I did not know what to say. I froze. Then he goes, ‘Hold on I’m going to brush my teeth you talk to her,'” Kim explained. “So I go ‘OK, I got to go bye!’ and I hung up. I mean, I just wasn’t ready and I’m not going to be forced to be on the phone with her.”

Facing the camera, Kim explained that while she considers Chyna a friend, she had to side with Kylie because she was her sister.

“I understand that Kylie dating Tyga completely broke Chyna’s heart. I feel for her in that situation,” Kim said.

“Was it uncomfortable for me when Kylie and Tyga started to date? Absolutely, because Chyna was my friend and I had no choice but to take my sister’s side because that’s my sister.”

“Do think that everyone needs to sit down and work it out? Absolutely. I’ll talk to her when I’m ready,” she reasoned.

Of course, all that awkwardness and hostility (if there was any) is behind Kim and Blac now, as they’ve already made peace with each other during a lunch outing with Rob in late April.

The three of them kept it casual as they enjoyed lunch at a Beverly Hills restaurant. By the time they stepped out of the establishment, Rob was spotted with a huge grin on his face while walking alongside his fiancée and sister.

The truce came days after Kylie buried the hatchet with the Blac. Kylie took to Snapchat to share a photo of herself and Chyna shortly after they made peace with each other, along with the caption, “When we’ve been friends the whole time.”

It can only be a good thing that Kylie and Kim have made peace with Blac given that the exotic performer recently got engaged with their brother. Even more so that Rob confirmed via Instagram that his fiancée is pregnant earlier this month. According to reports, she’s already a couple of months into her pregnancy, as her baby bump photos on the internet can attest.

And the thing about Kylie and Tyga in relation to Blac is now a moot thing since the two just broke up a month ago. No one in the media knows for sure what may have led to the breakup, but Tyga’s statement to Cosmopolitan suggests that it’s far more complex than anyone would think.

With Tyga possibly out of the picture, the idea of Blac Chyna attending Kardashian reunions doesn’t seem as awkward anymore.
