Terrence Howard Expands His Empire, Expecting Fifth Child As He Rises Back

Terrence Howard has a lot in common with Lucious Lyon; he just wants to expand his empire, and he has. The complicated actor will welcome his fifth child in the near future. The star of Empire and his third wife, Miranda Pak, are expecting their second child, someone to keep their son one-year-old Qirin Love company reports NY Daily News.

Pak, a 47-year-old model, and restaurateur, revealed that she is five months pregnant at the “Empire” FYC ATAS celebration on Friday in Los Angeles, as she accompanied her husband on the red carpet. She is joining a growing number of women who are having children in their 40s and 50s.

Howard and Pak have been married for less than three years and have had a bumpy ride that includes multiple breakups. Just last March, Pak filed for divorce two months before their son was born, claiming that the two had been separated since 2014. However, by September, the two had worked out their differences and walked the red carpet at the 2015 EMMY Awards.

Terrence Howard admits that he is a complicated man, and he accepts that as does his wife. Pak spoke about her complicated on again off again relationship with the actor to Rolling Stone.

“We have an amazing connection. But, I mean, he’s not perfect. Doesn’t do the dishes. Doesn’t cook. Doesn’t lift a finger. I probably leave him 30 times a month,” Pak told Rolling Stone last year about their complicated relationship. “We don’t have a normal life. In our two years together, I’ve only gone to restaurants with him two or three times. We’ve never been to the supermarket together. We’ve never been to the movies. I’ve never gotten a gift from him. Never, never.”

Terrence Howard has three additional children with his first ex-wife Lori McCommas: Aubrey, Heaven, and Hunter. He married McCommas in 1989, divorced her in 2003, remarried in 2005, and divorced again in 2007. The most turbulent relationship has been with his second wife Michelle Ghent, who publicly aired some very nasty things about him to the press and in the divorce proceedings.

Terrence Howard has endured some career setbacks as well. He told Rolling Stone that when he did Iron Man in 2008, he made more money than Robert Downey Jr., but his reputation on and off screen saw his salary go from $3.5 million to $40,000. His rollercoaster career has made him see that he has a good woman — a woman that supported the family while his Empire checks were being garnished by his ex Ghent.

Terrence Howard is enjoying the end of the second season of the FOX hit Empire, a show about a ruthless music mogul who will do anything to be on top of the music game, and he says that he is essentially Lucious Lyon, just on a different frequency. The days of bad press due to violence and tantrums appear to be behind the actor, who is trying for the third time to settle down and enjoy his fame and family. He also appears to be a very hands-on dad according to People magazine.

“So, I pull night duty, so that she can sleep and I keep him with me and will take some of the pre-pumped ‘breast cheese,’ whatever you call it.”

Empire wrapped up Season 2 last Wednesday and returns for Season 3 in the fall, although there hasn’t been a release date yet.
