Karrueche Tran Claps Back At Fan Who Criticized Her For Using Racial Slur On Twitter

Karrueche Tran isn’t shy when it comes to confronting her haters on social media, so when one fan aimed to diss the model for using a racial slur in one of her posts shared to Twitter earlier this week, Karrueche wasted no time in directly addressing the fan’s criticism on the site.

The exchange occurred via Twitter on Saturday after Karrueche took to the social media site to share a short tweet that reads, “n**** nah,” seemingly quoting a line from Beyoncé’s recently released track, “SORRY,” in which the songstress sings, “Sorry, I ain’t sorry / Sorry, I ain’t sorry / I ain’t sorry, n****, nah.”

While fans were quick to respond to Karrueche’s tweet with additional lyrics from Beyonce’s song, in addition to some fans even implying that Tran’s tweet may have aimed to throw shade at someone in particular given the nature of the track, one fan sought to criticize the model’s use of the racial slur while simultaneously aiming to make fun of Tran’s first name.

“Don’t say n**** karate chop u not black,” the fan wrote in response to Karrueche’s tweet, prompting the model to swiftly reply with, “@KylesTrigger shutup n****,” The Shade Room reports.

It didn’t take long for Karrueche’s followers to begin lashing out at the fan’s claims regarding Tran’s ethnicity, which Tran describes as “where vietnam & the hood meet” in her personal Twitter bio, with one user explaining, “She’s half black *eye-rolling emoji* sadly you ended up lookin like the racist one here :((.”

In addition, one follower responded to Tran’s post by questioning why the model, who is of African-American and Vietnamese descent, didn’t aim to correct the fan’s claims about her ethnicity in her response tweet, asking, “@karrueche so why didn’t she say she’s black when he said that,” leading one fan to reply, “cus who argues about their race to a nobody? Nobody.”

In response to the backlash over his initial tweet, the fan later took to Twitter to question the hate surrounding his exchange with Karrueche Tran, writing, “It was a joke. How can I be racist? Who am I systematically oppressing? No body! kangaroo kno I got love for her @karrueche.”

This isn’t the first time that Karrueche has defended herself against fan criticism on Twitter; earlier this month, Karrueche clapped back at another fan who aimed to diss the A Weekend with the Family actress by referring to her as “chris browns ex girl” on Twitter.

On May 5, Karrueche took to the social media site to share her plans to try out a new natural beauty trend, writing, “new beauty trend: natural fresh makeup! No more super contour heavy makeup and fly away lashes. Ready for this!” prompting one fan to reply with a curt, “did i ask.”

In response to the fan’s rhetorical post, Karrueche flatly explained, “yes you did,” ultimately leading the fan to respond once more with a tweet that aimed to diss the model’s association with former boyfriend Chris Brown, whom Tran split from in 2015, writing, “isn’t this chris browns ex girl lmao.”

“my name is Karrueche,” Tran shot back in response, prompting fans to flood the model’s post with supportive messages such as, “that’s right baby, stand your ground & let these little internet trolls know wassup,” “they better put some respek on bae name,” and “Karrueche Tran to be exact!!”
