Khloé Kardashian Desperate For Kanye West To Help Lamar Odom Seek Rehab Treatment Amid Alcohol Relapse Concerns

Khloé Kardashian fears that it’s only a matter of time before her estranged husband Lamar Odom stands at death’s door now that he has relapsed with a serious addiction to alcohol.

This month alone, Odom was caught drinking on multiple occasions out at a local mall in Los Angeles with no care in the world on whether he was going to be photographed by concerned onlookers.

What’s more worrying is the fact that Lamar was out and about with his friends, who seemed to have made no real effort in preventing the athlete from drinking in the early hours of a sunny afternoon.

Khloé understands that Lamar’s friends can only help him as much as he allows them to. They can’t force the troubled star to not drink alcohol if he’s going to do it anyway; but, all of this has made the 31-year-old paranoid to the point where she has confided in Kanye West, hoping that he can make Lamar see sense that there’s more to life than consuming alcohol and drugs.

A source revealed to Hollywood Life, “Khloé doesn’t really know who else to turn to talk some sense into Lamar. She’s hoping Kanye will have a few words with him. She knows Kanye can be very convincing. Khloé wants Kanye to encourage him to get professional help from an addiction expert, even if that means going to rehab.”

Lamar heavily praised Kanye’s music, claiming that the rapper’s newest album The Life of Pablo actually helped the former athlete gain consciousness again after being left in a coma for almost two weeks.

Kanye made endless trips to see Lamar at the hospital in Los Angeles, playing him music and assuring him that he was bound to make a speedy recovery. But now that Odom is doing well enough where he can take care of himself again, it seems as if the ex-Lakers player just isn’t appreciating the fact that he has been given another shot at life.

“At this point, Khloé has nothing to lose in having Kanye try and inspire Lamar to get the help he needs.” Hopefully, Lamar will listen to Kanye’s advice,” the source concluded, stressing that the reality star is out of options when it comes to helping Lamar.

Khloé has done everything she can to get her husband back on track. If Kanye can’t help Lamar see sense that he shouldn’t take his life for granted, the 31-year-old doesn’t know what she’s going to do with herself in order to get Lamar in a better frame of mind.

It was recently reported that the Kardashians were planning an intervention that would see Lamar face an immediate treatment plan at a rehab facility in California, but Odom had assured the family that he didn’t have a problem and when he does drink, it was always done in moderation.

By the look of things, Lamar seems to be in denial about the fact that he has formed an alcohol addiction. Whether Kanye West’s influence on the former athlete is going to work has yet to be determined, but Khloé and the rest of the Kardashians are hopeful that the rapper’s friendship with Odom is close enough to convince Lamar that he needs professional help.
