‘RHOBH’ Star Lisa Rinna Apologizes To Fans Ahead Of Her QVC Appearance, Followers Question Her Motives

If you had asked most RHOBH fans last year what their opinion of Lisa Rinna was, it would be a different one than it is today. She started Season 2 as one of the fan favorites and quickly plummeted to one of the most hated housewives in the Bravo franchise. She has repeatedly tried to repair her image with her fans, with small success.

One of the main reason’s Lisa’s apologies have been so unsuccessful is she seems very insincere. She gives a heartfelt apology to her fans, and they accept it as a genuine apology. Days or, often, just hours later, she snaps and unleashes another ugly social media rants about her “ugly, toothless, fat” fans.

Rinna posted to her Instagram this week explaining and apologizing for her social media rants over the course of the RHOBH season. She tried to explain that while most of her followers are amazing people, there are a select few that are mean-spirited and their sole purpose is to get under her skin. She stated that there’s only so much someone can take before they snap and decide they can’t take any more negative energy around them.

Lisa has been the target of many articles for her tendency to lose her temper and argue with RHOBH fans over Yolanda, Munchausen’s disease, and Lisa Vanderpump. Rinna has issued several apologies over the past five weeks, and most of them have some type of motive behind it. Her fans have wondered if the newest “genuine” apology also had some kind of hidden meaning behind it?

“Not for one second was my intent to hurt, belittle or degrade my beautiful fans. Those words were never intended for 99.9% of you out there. In that moment, I felt beaten down and allowed myself to be hurt by the.1% and I held up a mirror and lashed out at them…. Not the rest of you. Please take this as my sincere and heartfelt apology to anyone that feels slighted, hurt or disappointed by my comments directed to a very specific group of Internet trolls. I know better than to feed them with their own vitriol and I had a moment of weakness which in turn may have upset the most important people. YOU. I adore and love all of YOU — my fans and @QVC family. “

One fan replied to Lisa and wondered if QVC urged her to make an apology to her followers, All About The Tea speculated. It seems pretty suspicious considering her line will air at 1 a.m. on May 22 on QVC. Maybe the network is scared her rants and social media mishaps could spell trouble for her appearance? At any rate, her Instagram page was filled with nothing but drama seeking RHOBH fans, who couldn’t wait to either support the former soap opera star or throw shade her way all in the name of entertainment.

Last month, Rinna issued a semi-explanation/apology during her Watch What Happens Live segment. She admitted she had times of “losing it” on social media, but according to her, it’s the “haters and trolls” that “make” her behave in that manner. She claims that she has “owned” her part and thinks we should all just “move on.”

“I had a moment, which again you know every once and a while you do snap. And I tell everyone, ‘Don’t do that,’ and then I do it. But it was to the haters and trolls only. I addressed it, not to anyone in particular. It was not for a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills fan, who I love and adore. It was to haters and trolls. And if you’re going to come on my Instagram, I can say whatever I want. And I did have myself a little rant. Yes, I did. Double snap.”

Do you think that Lisa only apologized to publicize her QVC appearance? Do you think her behavior on social media and RHOBH will affect her sales on the show? Voice your opinion about Lisa Rinna in the comments section below, and come back later for more news and updates.
