Next week, the Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Adam may find himself in trouble with the law once again. Nick begged Dylan to arrest his brother, Adam for his (assumed) role in Constance Bingham’s death. Dylan investigates and finds that Constance has been poisoned and decides to arrest Adam. Afterwards, Nick feels conflicted about Adam’s role in her death and decides to make a drastic move by confronting the man he believes could behind it all. The murder investigation brings closure to a secret that Sharon wanted to stay buried forever: Sully’s true identity.
Adam’s charges all hinge of the validity of Sage’s diary and whether or not the journal is a fake. In the journal, Sage implies that Adam poisoned Constance and killed her in cold blood to get his hands on Gabriel Bingham’s inheritance money. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Adam knows deep down that he will beat the charges because he is completely sure he had nothing to do with her death. His biggest fear is his father, Victor, has set him up and plans for them to be cellmates in prison.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Dylan will talk to Adam and Chelsea about the charges, and asks if Adam can give him any more information about Constance before the final toxicology report comes in. Adam tells him that his biggest worry is that his father will be able to see to it that he serves time in the cell next to him. He recalls what Victor told him, and that he vowed that Adam would pay for betraying him.
“Adam knows his father will stop at nothing to make him pay. The fact he is locked in a cell doesn’t matter; he still has a very long reach and influence.”
Adam tries to convince Dylan to look for clues that he could be innocent; he promises him that he knows he didn’t do it, Soap Opera Digest reports. He explains that he had no reason to hurt Gabriel grandmother, Constance. She was a sweet lady, and he enjoyed his interactions with her. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Dylan appears to believe him, but tells him he has to follow the evidence.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Adam will suspect that Luca did Victor’s dirty work for him. Adam knows that Luca is vying for an executive position at Newman Enterprises and believes he’ll do anything that the Mustache asks of him. Adam decides to confront him about planting the fake diary in Nick’s apartment. Of course, Luca swears he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and suggests he look elsewhere for someone to blame for his “false” charges. Just as Adam is about to leave, Dylan shows up with a warrant in hand and places him under arrest for murder.
“It isn’t a stretch to assume Victor is responsible for framing his son. The fact a journal is used solidifies things for Adam. After all, he once used a forged journal to frame Victor. “
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nick will start to suspect that Adam may not have killed Gabriel’s grandmother, and worries that he may have played into his father’s hands. He soon realizes that Victor expected him to come hinged when reading that Adam killed her, and used it as a way to frame him for murder. As much as he despises Adam, he doesn’t want him in jail for something he didn’t do. Nick offers to help him prove his innocence.
“Adam will be hell-bent on clearing his name, Unfortunately, he is up against a ticking clock as his court day draws near. Will he be able to find the proof in time to avoid a murder conviction?”
Soap Central reveals that Dylan will dig into the evidence further and to try to determine whether or not foul play was involved when Mrs. Bingham died in 2014. He uncovers a family secret that rings much closer to home. Is it possible he discovers that Sully isn’t his child? Or, could he figure out that Adam was Christian’s biological father?
