Chloe Moretz Spills The Beans About Her Relationship With Brooklyn Beckham, Admits They’ve Been Dating ‘On And Off’ For Years

Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham have been the subject of dating rumors on several occasions this year, but it’s not until this month when the couple finally decided to be open about their relationship.

Chloe finally opened up about her romance with Beckham when she sat down for an interview with The Talk this week, as previously reported by Mirror. According to Moretz, she and Brooklyn have been dating “on and off” for a couple of years already. Keeping their romance a secret, however, has caused a strain in their relationship, which made them decide to adopt a more upfront approach.

“Well, we’ve been off and on together for a couple of years now, and we just kind of made it official,” Chloe admitted.

“We were always running from people taking pictures of us. And we were like, ‘You know what? It’s affecting our relationship,” she added.

“We weren’t able to go to the restaurants we wanted to go to or just go to a movie,” she said. “And so we thought, ‘You know what? If we’re more upfront about it and we break down the iron curtain and we just let them take our photo, they’re not going to care.'”

Since then, numerous photos of Moretz and Beckham started to go their rounds on the internet on a regular basis, and sure enough, the couple looked like they were having the time of their lives.

In fact, some of these photos were posted by the couple themselves via their respective social media accounts.

One such Instagram photo shows Brooklyn leaning on Chloe with the both of them seated in a car.

Another Instagram photo shows Brooklyn wrapping his arm around Chloe – another telltale sign that they are more than friends.

A more recent photo (taken yesterday) sees the both of them playing around at one of the sets at Disneyland.

The pair recently made their red carpet debut as a couple at the LA premiere of Moretz’s film, Bad Neighbours.

On the red carpet, Moretz and Beckham had no qualms about indulging in some PDA. Beckham himself took to Instagram to show his followers one of the photos taken during the event, which shows himself and Chloe cuddling up for the camera. As you can see from the Instagram image below, the pair aren’t exactly shy about expressing their affection for each other even under the scrutiny of the camera. Good for them!

The 19-year-old actress admitted to the relationship when she appeared on U.S. show Watch What Happens Live in early May. Taking part in a game of ‘Plead the Fifth’ with host Andy Cohen, Moretz had to come clean about it.

“Last time you were here, I asked you about your relationship with Brooklyn Beckham,” Andy said. “You were like, ‘Uh, we’re friends.'”

“We’re in a relationship. It’s fine. It’s no biggie. And I think that, you know, the more I don’t make it mysterious, the more that people don’t care. So yes, we’re in a relationship,” Chloe revealed.

As can be expected of any relationship that lasted for years, Chloe has been assimilated quite well into Beckham’s family. Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria Beckham, is especially fond of the actress. She already treats her like a part of the Beckham family, even joking at one time how good it is to “finally be levelling things out with the female to male ratio in the family,” according to a source for Closer.

“The boys also love her and Victoria says she’s become part of the family – spending weekends at their home and going for dinner at least three nights a week,” the source added.
