‘Neighbors 2’ Star Chloë Grace Moretz On Sex, Dating, And Brooklyn Beckham

Chloë Grace Moretz has been acting since 2004 and has just over 55 credits to her name, yet her rise to fame has been surprisingly gradual and that may be a good thing, as far as Chloë’s transition into adulthood. As the Let Me In actress, now 19 years old, speaks and expresses herself in terms of both her professional and personal lives, it’s clear that this moderate evolving toward stardom has given Ms. Moretz the time needed to adjust to life in the limelight.

Neighbors 2 Star Chloë Grace Moretz On Dating And Friendship As A Celebrity

After 12 years of living the Hollywood lifestyle, Chloë Grace Moretz is used to being in the spotlight, but, much like many other actors and actresses, there are times Chloë prefers to be away from the limelight and paparazzi. The Neighbors 2 star says maintaining such a public presence has made it difficult to form meaningful and long-lasting friendships, let alone finding genuine romantic interests. While Moretz may be adored by millions of fans, she says there’s a very small handful of trusted people she keeps in her inner circle.

“I’ve only got one real friend that I trust,” Chloë reveals. “But I’m cool with that. She’s totally normal, goes to college.”

As for potential love interests, Moretz reveals that finding even one person able to meet her on a level playing field has been next to impossible. Ms. Moretz may love her fans, but she confesses that she doesn’t want to date one. Instead, she looks for someone who can stimulate her as much as she challenges him.

“They’ve seen you in sex scenes in movies, they know what you look like crying,” Chloë Grace Moretz says of her potential boyfriends. “And they can read your interviews and know your favorite bands so it feels like they have all this in common with you… Happens a lot. I’ll think, ‘How are we vibing so hard right now?’ Then I realize, and I don’t care anymore, I just go back to work.”

Chloë Grace Moretz And Brooklyn Beckham Go Public With Their Relationship

Chloë has been dating Beckham for a few years now, though they have given their relationship a break here and there. Even so, it’s something that the two have tried to keep private for as long as possible, until Moretz came to the conclusion that they were only putting more stress on their relationship. Chloë says the recent decision to come out to the public officially was a conscious decision and that it was done to divert the attention of the paparazzi.

“We were always running from paparazzi and running from people taking pictures of us. And we were like, ‘You know what? It’s affecting our relationship,'” Ms. Moretz revealed, adding that the couple couldn’t go to a movie or out to dinner without drawing all sorts of attention. “And so we thought, ‘You know what? If we’re more upfront about it and we break down the iron curtain and we just let them take our photo, they’re not going to care.'”

On a separate occasion, Moretz told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen that she hoped that she and Brooklyn would be able to demystify their relationship by going public. Chloë hopes that, by being open to the public about their romance, most people will lose interest in spying on their every move, enabling them to move forward without the stresses that sneaking around had created in their relationship.

“We’re in a relationship. It’s fine. It’s no biggie,” Chloë Grace Moretz told Cohen. “I think the more I don’t make it mysterious, the more people don’t care, so, yes, we’re in a relationship. Very exciting news I’m sure.”
