Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom: Here’s Why The Divorce Is Not Happening

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been separated for a while, but neither is talking about filing a divorce. Why won’t the two, even though in a strained relationship, divorce each other? The reasons have ranged from Khloe’s faith to Lamar’s alcoholism. But, what is the real reason for the two not getting back together and/or not legally separating?

Inquisitr had quoted Khloe Kardashian as saying that she wanted to remarry Lamar Odom. Radar Online has stated that Khloe Kardashian wants to remarry Lamar Odom. Lamar has been through a lot given that he was on his deathbed because of the Nevada brothel incident. The magazine has reported that when Kris Jenner talked about Melanie Griffith re-marrying her ex-husband, Don Johnson, Khloe quipped, “If you’re lucky, that could be you, Lamar!” So, are they really going to remarry?

There is no doubt that Khloe Kardashian does feel for her estranged husband. She said that when the Kardashians left the Vegas hospital, she thought she’d never see him again. “We were hysterically crying on the airplane. We couldn’t even talk. I swear that people’s prayers for you saved your life.” She even warned Lamar Odom that he shouldn’t go back to his old life, because “bad things could happen.”

“Bad things can happen if you go back to that life,” she warned. “This is a second chance.” Clearly, a second chance shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Inquisitr had also previously reported that it’s the Kardashians who are the reason Lamar and Khloe are not back together. Us Weekly had said that the family was quite concerned Lamar would go back to his old ways. “Khloe and the family are concerned Lamar could go back to his old ways,” the source said.

And, it looks like the Kardashians have every reason to believe that it may not work out between the two. The source has said that Lamar does not listen to Khloe. “Lamar refuses to listen to [Khloe]. He actually said, ‘Nothing will happen to me. Look how I survived this last one.'” However, it’s not just what the Kardashians say, but Khloe Kardashian’s own securities that are keeping her away from Lamar Odom. Inquisitr has quoted Hollywood Life as saying that Khloe is very apprehensive about relationships now.

The source has said that she is hesitant to take him back “romantically.”

“Khloe has been burned in many of her relationships including Lamar and is apprehensive about taking him back romantically,” a source told Hollywood Life exclusively. “But to add to that she has also had thoughts on taking him back as well. Her past relationships have provided her with a sense of insecurity and by having her exes cheat on her and treat her badly she feels that it is in some way her fault and she wants to fix it.”

However, Lamar Odom’s dad claims that Khloe does want Lamar back, Inquisitr has reported. He goes on to say that she has him living next door and is even handling his finances. But, it’s not clear if Khloe is ready to commit to Lamar in the long run.

Inquisitr previously reported that Lamar Odom is only getting worse. TMZ published pictures of Lamar Odom consuming alcohol, and the alleged incident didn’t go down quite well with Khloe Kardashian. She tweeted, “Hummmmmm… People disappoint.”

Reports have said that Lamar Odom has been invited back to Nevada brothel by Dennis Hof, the owner of the brothel where overdose incident took place. Hof did not mince words when he said, “First night and 2 girls are on me,” Hof said… “plus all the Remy Martin you can drink.”
