‘Sister Wives’ News: Janelle and Meri Brown Clash Over Thanksgiving Plans

When it comes to Sister Wives on TLC, fans know that Meri and Janelle Brown have their differences. Recently, these two women have been trying to get things worked out and have even been going to counseling to fix their issues. They are the two wives that have been with Kody Brown the longest. Us Weekly shared a new preview and Meri, and Janelle are now clashing over their big Thanksgiving plans. This was filmed last year before Thanksgiving.

In this preview clip, Janelle Brown shows up Meri Brown’s house so that they can work on Thanksgiving decorations. Meri is already working hard and comments that Janelle comes in empty-handed. It seems there was a bit of confusion over what was going on that day. Janelle thought that they were planning, and Meri had already bought a ton of stuff for their big festivities.

You can tell that Janelle Brown is obviously upset that Meri already bought dishes and a lot of other stuff for Thanksgiving. Janelle and Meri decide to work on the place settings together and both like the idea of mixing it up. At least these two sister wives can agree on one thing. Janelle explains that she is challenged when it comes to artsy and craftsy stuff. She has never been the one to do all of this stuff for the family.

Next, they talk about how they will be doing some painting and Meri explains that she can’t do all of the work on her own. It is obvious that she wants to make sure that Janelle Brown is going to help her out. Janelle explains that she really does want to be hands on with everything, but they do discuss maybe needing some of the girls to help out.

You can tell that Janelle Brown’s feelings are a bit hurt. She really did want to help out Meri with everything, but Janelle admits that she likes what Meri picked out for their Thanksgiving dinner. Janelle feels like the project is becoming more Meri’s and isn’t as much hers as it was supposed to be. This was something they had decided to do together so they could work on their relationship.

Janelle Brown is letting herself disengage from the project because of Meri taking over. It could end up causing more problems between these two sister wives that just can’t seem to get along. Meri explains that Janelle has always admitted she isn’t a decorator. Janelle does say that she is getting along well with Meri during this project, so she is going to try to go with the flow.

Design & Trend shares that you can also catch Meri Brown this weekend on a special that will air after Sister Wives. This show is called Catching the Catfisher. It will be all about catfishing, which is when someone pretends to be someone they are not while talking to someone online. Meri had this happen to her and recently shared about it on the show. Things have been pretty toxic and hard for Meri, but she seems to be moving on and she’s now sharing her story. Hopefully, she can help keep someone else from going through what she went through.
