South Fort Myers High School: 15-Year-Old Girl Had Sex With 25 Boys In School Bathroom, Incident Was Shared On Snapchat, Officials Allege

A 15-year-old Florida girl was allegedly caught having sex with 25 boys inside a South Fort Myers High School bathroom. Videos of what went on were allegedly recorded on Snapchat. Whether or not the girl was coerced or forced to engage in sexual acts with the boys remains unknown.

The South Fort Myers female student told the principal of the Florida school that she “had sex with a number of boys.” Other students reportedly told school officials and police investigators that a group of their peers had locked themselves in the bathroom and recorded the sex acts.

So far, at least one student has been “disciplined for inappropriate activity” in the Fort Myers school bathroom, the Daily Mail reports. Florida deputies have allegedly confiscated a cell phone to search for images and videos related to what occurred in the South Fort Myers High School bathroom between the 15-year-old girl and 25 boys. Other students said they saw a group of boys and the lone girl enter the bathroom. The boys were reportedly seen coming and going for an unknown amount of time.

Images or videos of the bathroom sex incident were shared around South Fort Myers High School via Snapchat, according to Fox 4 Now News. Petislin Cadeau, a senior at the school, told local reporters he had heard some members of the football team were among the group of 25 boys spotted going into the bathroom with the girl.

“I heard a video was around but I never really saw it or anything,” Cadeau added. “It just like circulated around.”

Alex Bailey, also a student at the Florida high school, also claims many of the football players were involved and were suspended.

“So, we might not have a football team this year,” Bailey added.

The school has not released the identities of any of the students allegedly involved in the bathroom sex incident or any specific details about any punishments which have been handed down so far.

A Lee County School District representative would only state any student involved in the bathroom sex incident have been punished in a manner consistent with the school code of conduct.

“It’s like one of those things where you don’t… really… it’s just crazy. I never thought that would happen,” South Fort Myers sophomore Ashley Shimko told NBC-2 News.

Parents of students at the school are both shocked and outraged about the claims of the 15-year-old girl having sex with 25 boys in the school bathroom.

“I’ve just heard that they were all filming it and I just think it’s really wrong. That shouldn’t have happened. They locked themselves into the bathroom,” Lisa Purnell, a parent, told local reporters.

Fellow parent Kevin Ware staunchly feels an in-depth investigation must be conducted to find out exactly what happened and to punish those involved.

“Where were the teachers? Just a thorough investigation needs to be done. It’s terrible. I feel for the little girl, I feel for her parents. It’s just sad,” Ware aid.

According to the South Fort Myers High School website, the Lee County facility is accredited by SAC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) and is a “comprehensive high school, which seeks to maximize all students’ post-secondary opportunities.” It is not a Title I school. There are about 2,000 students currently enrolled on the campus.

Eric Struble, a father of two 15-year-old girls at South Fort Myers High School, said he was in a state of disbelief and was saddened to hear what had happened.

“It’s our job to protect our children and to teach them right from wrong,” Struble said. “We need to know what was going on during school. Why are the kids out? Where they supposed to be in class?”
