Harry Styles Has Wild-looking Eyes On The Set Of Dunkirk -- One Direction Star Getting Into Character?

Harry Styles has well and truly moved on from his One Direction touring days. Harry has entered the world of acting.

Filming for Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk will begin on May 23rd in the city of Dunkirk, France.

It was Harry's dad, Des Styles, who confirmed earlier this year that Harry is going to be a movie star. Des hit Twitter and wrote the following message:

"H has a great movie role, so I'm back!"
Mr Styles senior was keen to catch up on the goss, so he asked his Twitter followers, "What are you saying about Dunkirk?"

Perhaps Harry or some kind of PR person gave Des a call soon after and asked him to shush, because Harry's dad quickly deleted the tweet, according to Unreality TV.

Harry Styles is already in France, preparing to begin filming. Fans grabbed a few clips and pictures of Harry entering a black vehicle and leaving his hotel. Harry wore the beanie he has favored since he cut his hair a few days ago, and French fans reported that he gave them a friendly "Bonjour!" as he left his hotel.

Is it just us, or is actor Harry already looking a little more wild-eyed and invigorated?

Harry's jaw looked more tense than usual when he was photographed from the side, as if he was gearing up for an exhilarating day doing stunts on the ship.

His eyes were alert, and his face had a manic look it never did when he was doing concert after concert on the One Direction tour circuit.

It's no surprise that Harry Styles is already looking a little different. Harry is likely to be using the techniques of method acting, trying to tap into extreme emotions from his childhood as he gets into character.

Harry has an incredible creative challenge ahead of him -- he is trying to capture the spirit of a young man under a lot of stress in traumatic 1940s Europe.

Harry may have a bit of a wild look in his eyes these days, but he is as polite as ever. Styles paused as he entered his black vehicle and obliged the fans who were begging him for selfies.

One girl managed to capture a video. We get a great shot of the nautical tattoos on Harry's muscly arm, then we get to watch as the French girls take turns snapping selfies with him and giving him kisses!

In other Harry Styles news, the cute babe has been busy writing and registering new songs slated to appear on his 2017 solo album. Teen Vogue reports that Styles had writing sessions with Johnny McDaid, the pianist and guitarist from Snow Patrol.

McDaid told reporters that he's "been friends with Harry for a long time" and that they've written together a lot. The musician had nothing but praise for Styles, calling him "super-talented" and marveling about Harry's "incredible voice."

"Harry is a really prolific artist and a super-talented guy. He's really authentic and he has an incredible voice, so we've been writing a lot of songs. We've been writing songs for years together."
McDaid backed up previous reports that Harry is heading in a completely different direction after One Direction. The Snow Patrol pianist even said that he thinks the world will be "shocked" by Harry's new stuff!

Johnny added that he's "really excited by the way [Harry's] sounding."

"I'm really excited by the way he's sounding at the minute, he's such a talent. I think the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with."
