‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: ‘Cliffhanger Friday’ Leaves Fans With More Questions Than Answers [Spoilers]
General Hospital cliffhanger Friday is always something fans look forward to watching. This is when the writers leave a huge story hanging in the balance while giving previews for the upcoming week. Since next week is the Nurses Ball on General Hospital, there is plenty of prep left. Today’s show will focus mostly on Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and Hayden (Rebecca Budig) dancing around one another, and more Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes).
There has been a lot of talk among General Hospital fans regarding the Brad and Lucas storyline. It was put on hold for quite some time. Last year, the couple was engaged at the Nurses Ball. According to Soap Shows, Brad and Lucas will set a wedding date tomorrow. Apparently, the couple is going to choose to wed at the Nurses Ball, with Lucy Coe officiating. There has been no follow-up about Brad and his wife, or should be ex-wife. Since General Hospital writers dropped the ball with this storyline, there are still some holes that aren’t being filled. Back when May sweeps spoilers came out, there was some indication that wedding chaos would ensue, along with a possible death. Could this be the beginning of the end for Lucas?
Things between Nikolas and Hayden are about to come to a head on General Hospital. Fans have been wondering how this would go down, and today, they will get their answer. Hayden will be lunching with her only friend, Curtis (Donnell Turner). When the prince discovers this, he will lose his cool. When Nikolas issues a “game over” stance to Hayden, she is going to be left in the dust. It appears her mother is going to be headed to Port Charles, and this may be the lead-in to that storyline. Rebecca Budig signed a contract with General Hospital, so this is definitely not the end of the line for her.
The Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) storyline is beginning once again on General Hospital. As a result of her son being found on the doorstep of the Quartermaine mansion, there are so many questions that need to be answered. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will find answers to questions Michael (Chad Duell) has been asking. The theory is that Sabrina is being held against her will, but who could have taken her? Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) is dead, and he was the last clue they had to find out where she was. Rumors of a paternity dispute have been flooding General Hospital fan sites. Could Michael have really fathered Sabrina’s baby or is that just another run of the mill theory that will be debunked later on down the road?
Despite the likable pairing of Morgan (Bryan Craig) and Kiki (Hayley Erin) on General Hospital, it appears the writers have different plans for them. After the conversation Ava (Maura West) had with Morgan, he plans on doing the right thing. He will back away from Kiki and allow her to heal without him. This is going to leave the door wide open for Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) to walk right in. General Hospital writers have been setting this up for quite some time, and it looks like things will be headed this way into the summer.
With only two episodes of General Hospital left until the Nurses Ball, there is going to be a lot happening. The lead-ins will begin with tomorrow’s episode and continue on through next week. May sweeps are almost over, and that leaves a lot of General Hospital fans wondering what will happen next. Next week will change Port Charles in various ways, and the results may even take the life of someone that many General Hospital fans looked forward to seeing more of in the future.
