Katy Perry’s Red-Hot Appearance With Orlando Bloom At AmfAR Gala

Katy Perry is known for her extravagant outfits, but her latest look at the 2016 amfAR Gala is really over the top.

Some would say that Katy Perry looks like a flamenco dancer. Others would argue that she looks like the red dancing emoji. Perry walked the red carpet in a bright red off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown that looks like something out of a ballroom championship. The gown featured organza flowers and a sheer lace overlay.

The pop start complemented her look with her dark hair slicked back in a chignon and diamond chandelier earrings. She also blew kisses to the photographers with her cherry red lipstick, bronze eye shadow, and black mascara. Katy wasn’t entirely alone though. She was attending the event with her boyfriend Orlando Bloom who stuck to a traditional black tuxedo and bow tie.

Though the two didn’t walk the red carpet together, they were certainly chummy inside the event, seen on the photos published on the Daily Mail. There’s no doubt that Orlando was looking forward to Perry’s performance. Perry is expected to perform at the amfAR’s 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala, held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes on Friday night. The two have coyly shrugged off the claims that Bloom had cheated on the singer with Selena Gomez after they looked cozy together in Las Vegas.

Rumors then swirled that Katy Perry blamed her arch nemesis Taylor Swift for starting the rumors about Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom.

“Katy is putting the blame for this on Taylor Swift. She [Katy Perry] said that Selena has wanted her man forever.”

The source told Radar Online that Perry believed that “being friends with Swift inspired Gomez to make her move on [Bloom].”

Another source told Hollywood Life that the 39-year-old actor and the 23-year-old singer were hands-on with each other that night.

“They were sitting so close, practically on top of each other. He gushed over her with complements, telling Selena how hot and sexy she looked. They were extremely touchy feely all night. No pun intended, but they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. They were playfully touching each other’s fingers and hands, him gently touching her leg and arm — and she was eating it up. As they whispered in each other’s ears she even put her hand on his leg. You can tell he makes her laugh as she was giggling like a teenager. Later she also rested her head on his shoulder.”

But other sources told TMZ that Selena and Orlando were just grabbing food with their friends, and they were not alone in the car that they were seen leaving the hotel in. Then Katy took to Twitter to slam the rumors, calling them a “dumb conspiracy.” Then she linked to a Time article mentioning Orlando’s recent work with UNICEF.

“Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy check out how Cool this is: http://time.com/4316476/orlando-bloom-unicef-report-education/ #dontfeedthebeast,” she vaguely tweeted.

Selena shared her support for the couple by retweeting it and adding the message, “#killemwithkindess -one day they’ll get it lol.”

Then Katy and Orlando shut down the rumors when they were photographed making out on a yacht off the coast of the French Riviera in Cannes earlier this week. The pair looked happy and in love as if nothing happened at all. The reason why Katy hasn’t let go of Orlando is because she’s into the sexual chemistry that they share together, claims an insider.

“She’s fallen so hard for Orlando she doesn’t want to lose him. Katy feels like they have a deep soul connection, plus their sex life is next level, she just doesn’t want to give that up.”
