Jessa Seewald Says Her Time Away From The Duggar Home Has Been The Best [Video]
With 19 kids, in-laws, grandchildren, and an ever-expanding family, the Duggars are in a perpetual state of birthday celebration. Therefore, it is common to see birthday shout-outs on the Duggar family’s official Facebook page. Today the birthday message was delivered by Duggar daughter Jessa Seewald to her “favoritest” person in the whole world, her husband Ben. However, in her message, Jessa also reveals that her time away from the Duggar compound with her husband has been the “best of her life.”
Jessa Seewald took to the Duggar family’s official YouTube account to send a special birthday message to her husband Ben. In the video, Jessa calls Ben her “favoritest” person on earth. In the generic birthday video, Jessa calls her husband “babe” multiple times and says he is an “awesome person, awesome husband and an awesome dad.”
Another birthday message was posted to Jessa Seewald’s Instagram account which notes that “these three years with you have been the best of my life!”

Some took to the Instagram post to note that the time with Ben has likely been the best of Jessa’s life because she is no longer being “bugged” by 18 siblings or living under the same roof as her molester. Though the “best years” of Jessa’s life have occurred outside of the Duggar compound, Jessa still frequents her childhood home and lives in a property owned by her father. Therefore, it is unlikely that Jessa has severed any bonds with her family but rather enjoys being able to come and go as she pleases.
Though Jessa is no longer living in the strict Duggar home, she still seems to abide by the rules of her upbringing. She frequently discusses expanding her family and continues to wear Duggar-appropriate clothing. While Jessa has her own television series, a spin-off of 19 Kids and Counting that features her growing family, she does not have employment outside of reality television fame and the resulting speaking engagements.

Meanwhile, husband Ben Seewald works in some capacity with Jim Bob Duggar in property management and has been promoting Christian rappers on the show. With the Seewalds relying on their reality stardom, product endorsements, and Duggar patriarch Jim Bob Duggar for financial advancement, Jessa is not likely to break away from the family’s way-of-life anytime soon.
In fact, recent rumors suggest that Jessa and her sister Jill Dillard have made a pact to get pregnant at the same time to ensure their reality series continues.
“The Duggar family is pretty smart when it comes to marketing and advertising their brand. A pregnancy pact would be something to get fans talking, and it would encourage more viewers to tune into the show to watch the girls and their pregnancies progress.”
The pregnancy pact rumors come as many have speculated that TLC will not renew Jill & Jessa: Counting On for another season unless something significant changes. The network has struggled with finding suitable advertising for the program following the family’s numerous scandals involving oldest son Josh Duggar. The disgraced Duggar admitted to a host of sexual immorality including molesting his sisters as a teen, committing adultery, and having a pornography addiction.
Following the scandals, many people began boycotting the network along with advertisers who continued to support the family. Therefore, many companies chose to discontinue all Duggar-related ads. With advertisers refusing to run ads on any Duggar program, TLC has been forced to get more creative with ad revenue. With few sponsors available, the Duggar series has been used heavily to promote other ad-sponsored programs on the network instead of traditional ads.
